The 2020 fantasy football season is quickly approaching which means it’s time to get a start on your research. We have you covered with our fantasy football rankings as well as projections for the upcoming season. If you are interested in the defensive side of the ball we have you covered there as well. Leave no stone unturned and check out everything we have to offer.

It was a good week to have a Seahawks receiver as Russell Wilson threw for 5 this week. Tyler Lockett had two of them and DK Metcalf had another one of them. Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay also had great days with Matthew Stafford having a big day. I will be going through my wide receiver rankings for Week 10. A lot of teams are on bye this week which may provide some problems. My list will hopefully give you some good options if you’re in a sticky situation.

Big Week 9

Tyler Lockett was one of my top receivers in last week’s list and did not disappoint. He tore apart the weak Tampa Bay secondary with 152 yards on 13 receptions with 2 touchdowns. The Buccaneers were the worst pass defense in the league and Lockett took advantage of it. This week will be much more of a challenge. The Seahawks face the 49ers who have developed the best pass defense in the NFL. He may be in luck though as the Cardinals were able to pass all over them last week on Thursday night. Russell Wilson is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the league, so I wouldn’t be too worried about this tough matchup. Mike Evans also had quite the game last week. Back to back games, Evans has put up crazy numbers. This week he had 12 receptions for 180 yards with a touchdown and the week before he had 11 reception for 182 yards with 2 touchdowns. What are the chances he can do it again? There is actually a pretty good chance of it. The Buccaneers play the Cardinals this week who have allowed the fourth-most passing yards in the league and the most touchdowns with 24. It is time for Chris Godwin to have his monster game again, but it could very much be Mike Evans’s third huge game in a row.

My Top Pickup

Zach Pascal really impressed me this week. Three weeks ago he had 6 receptions for 106 yards with two touchdowns but followed that up with a 6-yard performance the next week. Last week, he had 5 receptions for 76 yards with a touchdown. With T.Y. Hilton out for the next few weeks, Zach Pascal has taken over as the top receiving option. Jacoby Brissett went down with a knee injury and his status is still up in the air, but Brian Hoyer looked just fine as the replacement. The Colts play the Dolphins this week which is a nice matchup. The Dolphins have been one of the worst defenses in the league allowing the most points per game in the NFL. Now that he is the number one wide receiver and is only owned in 6.6% of leagues, I would be all over him and consider him startable for Week 10.

Good Matchups

I’ve already gone over some good matchups, but another good matchup is with Keenan Allen. The Raiders have not only allowed the most passing yards in the NFL but have also allowed the second-most passing touchdowns. Last week, they allowed Matthew Stafford to throw for 406 yards and three touchdowns. Marvin Jones had 126 yards and a touchdown, and Kenny Golladay had 132 yards and a touchdown. Keenan Allen is the main option for Philip Rivers and should be getting the bulk of the targets. There is a chance that he could put both Jones’s and Golladay’s numbers together to equal a huge total this week. Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk also have a good matchup this week. I’ve already talked about how bad the Buccaneers are at covering the pass. They’ve allowed the second-most passing yards which bode well for the Cardinals who have focused mainly on throwing the ball. Fitz and Kirk should be getting ready to run a lot of routes this week.

Bad Matchups

I’ve already mentioned that Tyler Lockett faces a difficult matchup against the top-ranked pass defense, the 49ers, but Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry also do. Baker Mayfield and the Browns have struggled heavily to get it going this year. OBJ was supposed to be the answer that the Browns needed, but it had not panned out that way. Their problems only escalate this week when they face the Bills. The Bills have held opponents on average to 184.6 passing yards and 16.4 points per game. It is very hard to consider OBJ unstartable, but for how the season has shaped up, I might move him to the bench this week. There are much better options out there this week.
