The Rams rank 20th against the pass, and Russell Wilson steps in as the number one quarterback for Week 14. These games have been high scoring of late, and because of the other quarterbacks in tough spots this week, Wilson checks in at number one. Aaron Rodgers going up against the Redskins is a plus matchup, and we have seen Rodgers rip apart some of the lesser defenses, but struggle against better ones. There are a few quarterbacks that are not huge fantasy assets that do have good matchups this week. Drew Lock was not afraid to air out in the win of Los Angeles, and they will face a Houston secondary that continues to struggle, and is allowing the 5th most fantasy points per game. Sam Darnold and Ryan Fitzpatrick squaring off against each other this week. Both secondaries are easily exploitable, so they get a bump for me.

Derrick Henry continues to roll, and enters the week as the fourth projected back. Nick Chubb, Dalvin Cook, and Christian McCaffrey are ahead of him. Oakland’s run defense has slipped over the second half of the season, and Tennessee will continue to keep giving him the rock. Dalvin Cook is in a prime spot to be the RB1 one this week. Detroit has allowed the third most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. This is also a spot where the Vikings can control this game with ease. He may not see a full dose of touches because of this, but efficiency should get him there. Chubb gets the Bengals, who have allowed the 7th most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. This is a great spot for both him and Kareem Hunt, although Hunt’s value is more in PPR leagues. The Chiefs and Panthers both are allowing the most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Sony Michel is an interesting option this week who could thrive, and Devonta Freeman gets a bump in comparison to prior weeks.

Mike Evans isn’t a name you see top the list, but he matches up extremely well with an undersized Indy secondary. Both him and Chris Godwin can come out with top ten weeks after a quiet Week 13. On the flip side of that game, it is a bummer we won’t get T.Y. Hilton, but Zach Pascal should get a ton of targets against a team allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. Alshon Jeffery and DeVante Parker put on a show this past week and are in spots where they can against. Jeffery gets the Giants, who have allowed the second most fantasy points per game. Parker gets the Jets, who have allowed the 4th most fantasy points per game. Tyler Lockett was quiet on Monday night, and healthy might still be a concern, however, he gets the Rams this week, who have allowed the 10th most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. The Patriots and Chiefs game is going to be a battle between two stingy pass defenses. I have more faith in the Chiefs wideouts to put up points, as New England looks rough on the offensive side. Both are near the bottom in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers this season.

Jack Doyle grabbed the bull by the horns this week, seeing double-digit targets and dropping a big score. Doyle is in another good spot this week going up against the Buccaneers, who have allowed the second most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. Tyler Higbee took advantage of a week Cardinals defense against tight ends, and the Seahawks are not that far behind. I don’t mind him again as a streaming option this week. Vance McDonald should be able to pay off starting him in fantasy this week, as the Cardinals are allowing the most fantasy points to tight ends, and it’s not even close. Darren Waller is in a strong spot against the Titans, who have allowed the 6th most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season.

Teams allowing the most field goal attempts this season are Cincinnati, Denver, Tampa Bay, Los Angeles Rams, and Baltimore. Detroit, Arizona, Houston, and Philadelphia are a few other teams worth targeting with kickers, as they give up a lot of volume. Teams that give up the least amount of volume are New England, New Orleans, San Francisco, Oakland, and Minnesota. Volume is ultimately what you want each week. Finding kickers on offenses that move the ball is always a plus for fantasy points at the position. Efficiency would come next.

Minnesota is the top defense after getting trounced last week against Seattle. They take on Detroit, who looked decent in the first half, and then the third string quarterback started to look more like one. The Packers are also in a prime spot against the Redskins, who have allowed 40 sacks this season, and have turned the ball over 20 times. This is an offense that can’t move the ball well through the air, and the Packers offense should put them in a spot where they can’t rely on the run as well. Pittsburgh and Cleveland both have their strong matchups this week against the Cardinals and Bengals. Upside is there for both defenses this week. Tennessee is also a sneaky defense again, even after coming off of a strong week.
