Week 15 Fantasy Football Notable Injuries: Michael Thomas with a surprise inactive

It is week 15 of the NFL and the first or second week of fantasy playoffs depending on your fantasy league rules. Many players are on the verge of making late returns to fantasy-like George Kittle, Joe Mixon, and Christian McCaffrey. Many players this week will not be playing like Julio Jones and Michael Thomas. Check out the injury list for notable fantasy players below for week 15.

Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills

Phillip Lindsay (Q): Phillip Lindsay has been dealing with a hip injury that has kept him limited in practice this week. He is projected for 7.3 fantasy points this week.
Melvin Gordon (Q): Melvin Gordon is questionable with a shoulder injury this week. Vic Fangio has noted that Gordon and Lindsay will be going into this weekend with injury designations. He has projected 10.85 fantasy points.
Carolina Panthers

Green Bay Packers vs. Carolina Panthers

Christian McCaffrey (O): Christian McCaffrey is out for this week with a thigh injury. Mike Davis will continue to take over the backfield, and he scored in the top ten standings last week.
Curtis Samuel (Q): Curtis Samuel is questionable with a hamstring injury, but he has been limited in practice. He has projected 11.35 fantasy points this weekend.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

Kyle Rudolph (O): Kyle Rudolph is out this weekend with a foot injury. Irv Smith Jr. should see most of the action at the tight end position and has scored three touchdowns in his last three games.

Jimmy Graham (Q): Jimmy Graham is questionable with a hip injury, but has practiced. If he is limited in the game, rookie Cole Kmet has seen more targets from Mitch Trubisky lately.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Julio Jones (O): Julio Jones is out this week with a hamstring injury. The late inactive must be surprising for his owners. Russell Gage and Calvin Ridley should see more targets next weekend.

Ronald Jones (COVID): Ronald Jones has been put on the COVID reserve list this week. Leonard Fournette has been named the starter, but he has been a healthy inactive for three weeks now.
Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers

Ezekiel Elliott (Q): Ezekiel Elliot is questionable this week with a calf injury. He did not practice on Thursday, so owners should watch his status going into the weekend. Tony Pollard would take over without him.
Detroit Lions

Tennessee Titans vs. Detroit Lions

Kenny Golladay (O): Kenny Golladay is out this week with a hip injury, and talks of him being shut down for the season have started. Marvin Jones Jr. and Danny Amendola will see more targets for wide receivers.

DeVante Parker (Q): DeVante Parker is questionable with a hamstring injury, but has practiced all week. If Parker cannot go, Jakeem Grant and Lynn Bowden Jr. should take most of the targets.
Myles Gaskin (COVID): As of last Sunday, Myles Gaskin has been placed on the COVID reserve list. DeAndre Washington will most likely head the backfield without him.
Mike Gesicki (Q): Mike Gesicki is questionable with a shoulder injury this week, but he has practiced this week and has a good chance of playing this weekend.
New England Patriots
Damien Harris (Q): Damien Harris is questionable with an ankle injury and did not practice this week. J.J Taylor has projected the most points out of the Patriots’ backfield with 10.8 fantasy points.

Alex Smith (O): Alex Smith is out this week with a leg injury he sustained last game. Dwayne Haskins will make a start, which could affect his receivers in fantasy.
Antonio Gibson (D): Antonio Gibson is out this week with a toe injury and is doubtful to play. The backfield will be run by Peyton Barber and J.D McKissic next week. McKissic has projected 12.1 and Barber has projected 6.35 points.
Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Marquise Brown (COVID): Marquise Brown was placed on the COVID list on Wednesday and will not play this weekend. He was projected 11.3, but more targets should go to Mark Andrews or more through J.K Dobbins and Mark Ingram in the run game.
New York Jets

Los Angeles Rams vs. New York Jets

Jamison Crowder (Q): Jamison Crowder is questionable with a calf injury, but he has practiced this week. He has projected 9.65 fantasy points this weekend.
Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Chase Edmonds (Q): Chase Edmonds is questionable with an ankle injury and may not play this week because he has not practiced this week. Kenyan Drake has projected 13.45 as the lead running back.
New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Michael Thomas (O): Michael Thomas is out this week with an ankle injury and is one of the more surprising inactive this week. Emmanuel Sanders and Tre’Quan Smith could see more targets this week, especially with the return of Drew Brees this week.
New York Giants

New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns

Evan Engram (Q): Evan Engram is questionable with a calf injury this week and may not play. More targets on the way for Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard this week.
Daniel Jones (Q): Daniel Jones is questionable with an ankle injury this week and has been dealing with it for a couple of weeks. Colts McCoy will come in as the starter if he cannot go. This could affect the Giants’ receivers for fantasy football if they skew towards the run game.
Cleveland Browns
Austin Hooper (Q): Austin Hooper is questionable to play with a neck injury but he has practiced this week. Hooper missed last week with the same injury. If he cannot go, David Njoku will be the leading tight end.
Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Joe Mixon (IR): Joe Mixon will remain on injured reserve after having had the chance to return this week. He could return next week, so if you want to be tricky in your fantasy playoffs, taking him from waivers could be a great move.

James Conner (Q): James Conner is questionable with a quadriceps injury and did not practice on Thursday. If he cannot go, Benny Snell and Jaylen Samuels will handle the backfield without him.
