Week 8 WR Waiver Pickups & Adds: Fantasy Football FAAB Bids, % Owned

It’s never too early to look ahead to the fantasy football season. Don’t miss out full fantasy football rankings along with our defense fantasy football rankings. Also, if you are interested in fantasy football stats we have you covered. Always stay prepared with our up-to-date resources.

It is a sad day as I have not written about Preston Williams this week. Albert Wilson’s return muddies up the targets, and this is also just a team incapable of scoring 20+ points anyway. With healthy bodies returning like Tyreek Hill, it means a downgrade in targets for names like Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson. They were already volatile, but are even more so now. Once Sammy Watkins returns, they will be droppable. Devante Adams is expected to miss more time, but it has been tough relying on Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison.  Injuries and byes are piling up, and to win those fantasy football leagues, you are going to have to win the waiver wire as well. You can find the top wide receivers to pick up by rank for this upcoming week.

Kenny Stills – Houston Texans

With the news of Will Fuller being out for several weeks with a hamstring injury, Kenny Stills gets a major bump in the Texans offense with him out. Stills is coming off his best game with the Texans, going for 4-105-0 on five targets. Stills has a 13.2 average depth of target this season, and 50.3 PPR points on 19 targets and 15 receptions. He is the top grab heading into Week 8, and I don’t mind flashing some FAAB if you are in need of a FLEX or WR3 option. This is a strong offense in comparison so most of the names here.

Auden Tate – Cincinnati Bengals

While this past week was a major struggle for Auden Tate, he still managed to score 9.5 PPR points. He had six targets again, and that has been the case in each of the last five weeks. Tate has been over 50 receiving yards in four of the five games, and he has showed a fairly reasonable floor. His ownership went up after last week, and this game might halt that a bit, but Tate is still a strong pick up.

Phillip Dorsett – New England Patriots

The hamstring is back and healthy for Phillip Dorsett, and he can capitalize on Josh Gordon’s time off. Before he left early in the Washington game, Dorsett had 16 targets in the last two games, which had been without Antonio Brown. Dorsett can be a FLEX or WR3 option in the heart of bye weeks coming up. We know New England is going to move the ball despite a lackluster set of pass-catching options, and Dorsett is also one who can truly emerge.

DeVante Parker – Miami Dolphins

Ryan Fitzpatrick gave the Miami wideouts some fantasy worth in an extremely tough matchup against the Buffalo Bills. I was down on them, and both DeVante Parker and Preston Williams thrived. The favorable game script will be there for the Dolphins as they will be trailing from the get go most weeks. Parker is now up to 38 targets on the season, and has 650 air yards and 64.4 PPR points.

Corey Davis – Tennessee Titans

The Titans wide receivers are both dart throws, and AJ Brown is the other I am referring to after Corey Davis. With Marcus Mariota benched for Ryan Tannehill, he seemed to unlock the offense a bit moving them down through the air. Corey Davis has had a lackluster year for the most part, but flashed potential against Atlanta and this past week against the Chargers. The floor his is extremely low, so that is the downside, but they are worth grabs if you are in need.
