Contents
Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears
A.J Brown (Q): A.J Brown is dealing with an undisclosed injury that kept him out of practice Thursday. It will be interesting to see if he can go on Sunday, but better for Corey Davis and Adam Humphries in targets on the outside.
Adam Humphries (Q): Adam Humphries is dealing with a concussion that kept him out of practice Thursday. Check his status throughout the weekend to see if he will be good to go while he is listed as questionable for the moment.
Atlanta Falcons vs. Denver Broncos
Calvin Ridley (Q): Calvin Ridley is still listed as questionable and most likely a game-time decision for Sunday’s game. He has projected 11.75 fantasy points with his injury. Since Russell Gage is now healthy, he and Julio Jones should have great weeks if Ridley does not play.
Phillip Lindsay (Q): Phillip Lindsay has been limited in practice this week dealing with a foot injury. He has projected 10.1 fantasy points this Sunday and should play. If not, Melvin Gordon should see an increase in carries.
Tim Patrick (Q): Tim Patrick has a hamstring injury leaving him questionable this week. He did not play last week, but his practice participation is a good sign that he could play on Sunday. Without him, Jerry Jeudy and Daesean Hamilton should be due for solid fantasy outings.
Buffalo Bills vs. Seattle Seahawks
Carlos Hyde (O): Carlos Hyde will be out for the second straight week with a hamstring injury. Last week DeeJay Dallas put up 22.8 fantasy points in his absence and could do the same this week.
Chris Carson (O): Chris Carson is out with a foot injury. DeeJay Dallas and Trevor Homer will take over the backfield.
Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens
Mo-Allie Cox (Q): Mo-Allie Cox did not practice due to a knee injury. This opens up the door for Jack Doyle and Trey Burton for fantasy in week nine.
Mark Ingram (Q): Mark Ingram is questionable with a foot injury that may keep him out for next week. J.K Dobbins and Gus Edwards should be good flex options for next week.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers
All good for fantasy football!
Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions
Matthew Stafford (Q): Matthew Stafford is on the COVID list for being in contact with someone with COVID-19, even though he has tested negative. If he can pass protocol, he may have a chance to play on Sunday. But, the safe side suggests he won’t play.
Kenny Golladay (O): Kenny Golladay will not play due to a hip injury. Marvin Jones JR. and Danny Amendola have projected 11.75 and 9.45 fantasy points respectively next week. They should see more targets, but may not be valuable if Chase Daniels comes in the game as the backup.
Washington Football Team vs. New York Giants
Sterling Shepard (Q): Sterling Shepard is questionable with a shoulder injury, but is still projected 10.5 fantasy points. Against Washington, he should have a good week if he is healthy. Darius Slayton is still projected 10.25 and will see more targets without Shepard.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans
Gardner Minshew (O): Gardner Minshew is out with a finger injury. Jake Luton will take over the starting role, but the Jaguars’ receivers may fault in this game without their starting quarterback. That hurts the value for Levishka Shenault, DJ Chark Jr., and Keelan Cole in week nine.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Las Vegas Raiders
Josh Jacobs (illness/head): Josh Jacobs has gone through a tough time this week with an illness and an injury. He practiced in a limited fashion on Friday after missing practice, but he is still listed as questionable. Jalen Richard has projected 5.65 fantasy points as the backup for Richard.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
Andy Dalton (O): Andy Dalton has a concussion and COVID-19. The Cowboys are looking to Garrett Gilbert or Cooper Rush to take over the starting spot. This bodes horribly for the entire offense, including Ezekiel Elliot and the Cowboys’ receiving core. The Cowboys will have a really rough time against one of the best defenses in the league, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ezekiel Elliot (Q): Ezekiel Elliott is questionable with a hamstring injury for week nine. Tony Pollard would take over for him if he doesn’t play, but is not worth the start over one of the best rushing defenses in the league.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Miami Dolphins
Kenyan Drake (O): Kenyan Drake will not play next week against the Miami Dolphins due to an ankle injury. Chase Edmonds has projected over 15.15 fantasy points and should be in the top ten of running backs. He is a clear RB1 replacement for week nine.
Myles Gaskin (IR): Myles Gaskin has been placed on IR for at least three weeks due to an MCL injury.
Matt Breida (O): Matt Breida will add on to the injured backfield of Miami due to a hamstring injury. Jordan Howard and Patrick Laird will be leading the backfield, but neither of them is worth the start in fantasy football this weekend.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints
Chris Godwin (Q): Chris Godwin is questionable with a finger injury. Godwin reportedly caught plenty of balls at practice on Friday, so he should be good to go.
Michael Thomas (Q): Michael Thomas is finally going to make his start after not playing since week one.
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots
Jamison Crowder (Q): Jamison Crowder is questionable with a groin injury. Crowder has the fifth-highest average points amongst wide receivers this season. He has projected 10.6 fantasy points due to his injury concerns.
Damien Harris (Q): Damien Harris has projected 7.75 fantasy points next week as the third-ranked Patriots running backs. However, he is dealing with an ankle injury that leaves him questionable for week nine.
N’Keal Harry (Q): N’Keal Harry is questionable with a concussion going into this weekend. He is projected less than six points this week due to his injury, but Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Meyers are projected more than him going into this game.
