Thursday Night Football Storylines

The best Thursday during the football season is undoubtedly Thanksgiving Day. This year the early game will feature the Bears at the Lions on FOX. The first afternoon game will be between the Las Vegas Raiders and Dallas Cowboys on CBS. Then, the final game of the night will be on NBC as the Bills travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints.

Following Thanksgiving, the Cowboys and Saints will once again play on Thursday during Week 13. That game will be held in New Orleans. A great matchup that many will be looking forward to on Thursday Night is the Week 14 game between the Steelers and Vikings in Minnesota. Mike Tomlin takes on his former squad that he has had great success against since becoming the head coach of the Steelers.

The Chiefs will be playing the Chargers in Los Angeles in Week 15. Then, the 49ers will play at Tennessee in Week 16. With the new schedule this year, there will be no Thursday Night games for either Week 17 or Week 18
