Crowder? I Barely Know Her! (Week 1: Heat, Bulls, Nets) (The Litness: Memphis Grizzlies Podcast)

Ja has arrived. There is no denying it at this point. The kid can flat out play and doesn’t shrink from the moment. I think we all knew this but I don’t know if anyone thought that it would be so definitive by game 3 of his professional career. He has no fear, wants to play in the big moments, and already has an insanely composed feel for the game.

On this week’s podcast we break down everything we saw from the first three games of the 2019-2020 season (Heat, Bulls, Nets). There were plenty of good, even great things we saw, but there were also some concerning issues that needed to be addressed. The good news is that we saw growth in a lot of ways, game to game. The bad news is, well, Jaren still fouls a ton, Jenkins is still a rookie coach, and our SGs are VERY streaky. There will be a lot of growing pains with this team but man, it’s gonna be so exciting.

Shoutout to former Grizzlies Hasheem Thabeet and Jordan Adams for both getting drafted in the G League this past weekend. We will be watching to see what happens.

Host of Smashing Heads Podcast and The Litness: Memphis Grizzlies Podcast. Born and raised in West Tennessee, Zac is a big fan of two things: The Memphis Grizzlies and reality competition shows, especially MTV’s “The Challenge”. It just made sense to start a different podcast about each subject. Smashing Heads Podcast started in July 2018 and is all about “The Challenge” which is affectionately referred to as America’s 5th professional sport. It is co-hosted by his best friend, Jake and his wife, Hannah. The Litness is all about the Memphis Grizzlies and launched with the 2019-2020 season to cover the most exciting rebuild the team has ever gone through. It is also co-hosted by Jake.
