The college football season is now over after LSU dominated Clemson in the National Championship Game. Now, Calvin and Brandon will turn their focus to the college basketball season while they continue to cover the end of the NFL season.
Looking at tonight’s college basketball lineup, there are four games involving ranked teams and Calvin and Brandon take a look at them all. The first game is a re-match of each team’s opening game this season as Colorado takes on Arizona State. Colorado won by 10 in the first meeting but will they be able to take down the Sun Devils again tonight? In an AAC matchup, Cincinnati takes on a ranked Memphis team. Can the Bearcats cover the spread in this one or will Memphis prove their ranking and blow the Bearcats out?
The third game of the night is a PAC-12 matchup between Oregon and Washington State. The Ducks are #8 in the country and have some big wins this season. Can an up and coming Washington State team compete with the Ducks and cover the high spread? Vegas seems to think so as the line is moving in the Cougars’ favor. The final game is #1 Gonzaga hosting a 15-3 Santa Clara team. Should the Santa Clara hype be trusted? Could they cover the high 20-point spread or will Gonzaga flex their muscles and blow them out?
UFC 246 is this weekend and Brandon is excited for some very entertaining fights on this weekend’s card. Connor McGregor and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is the main event but there are plenty of other excellent fights to get your money on this weekend. Brandon discusses a number of fights, including a few underdogs that could provide some nice payouts. Listen in as Brandon gives excellent insight on a number of fights this weekend.
Closing the show out, Calvin and Brandon look at this weekend’s NFL games. The Tennessee Titans take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. Sharps are hitting Tennessee hard dropping the line down to Kansas City-7. Can the Titans continue their Cinderella run or will the Chiefs continue their dominance from last week’s comeback blowout win against Houston? In the final game of the weekend, the Green Bay Packers take on the San Francisco 49ers. Can the Packers avenge their early season blowout loss to the 49ers or will history repeat itself?
