The Spurs Through 3 Preseason Games (Spurscast)

On this episode of the Spurscast, I am joined by Project Spurs founder Michael De Leon to discuss the first three games of the San Antonio Spurs preseason,.

We take a look at some of the offensive and defensive trends through three games. So far it is looking like Spurs coach Gregg Popovich will be starting the season with Dejounte Murray and Bryn Forbes in the backcourt, much to the chagrin of Spurs fans, who want to see a Murray/Derrick White backcourt pairing.

We also discuss Marco Belinelli’s role off the bench and how he will like likely start the season ahead of Lonnie Walker IV, and one option where DeMarre Carroll could end up playing heavy minutes as the backup three.

We finish the show talking about the latest Spurs news, including Dedric Lawson being waived and the signing of Galen Robinson Jr.

Host of the Spurscast by Lineups & Project Spurs. Serves as an editor on and has been credentialed by the Spurs and the NBA for the past seven seasons. Paul has been a guest on national television and radio shows.
