PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson Betting Card, OAD

PGA Tour golf continues with TPC Craig Ranch next on tap to host the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson in McKinney, Texas, this Thursday. This week, Scottie Scheffler, Si Woo Kim, and Jordan Spieth headline among CJ Cup Byron Nelson bets. John Haslbauer provides his favorite PGA Tour picks from the available golf odds. Below, you’ll find each player’s best odds at legal betting sites.

PGA Tour action is back, teeing off this Thursday at the new and improved TPC Craig Ranch for the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson. With torrential downpour in store for this week’s forecast, we should expect a wet and soft version of TPC Craig Ranch, with its new, state-of-the-art drainage system being put to the test immediately after the 2025 renovation.

TPC Craig Ranch has a reputation as a birdie-fest track, most recently surrendering a 31 under par winning score to Scottie Scheffler last year. It remains to be seen how this new version of TPC Craig Ranch will hold up, but I’m expecting a continued barrage of birdies and heightened importance on approach play and putting.

Let’s review all my bets for the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson.

How I Built My CJ Cup Byron Nelson Betting Card

Scottie Scheffler sleepwalked to victory at this event last year, clearing Erik van Rooyen by a whopping 8 strokes. With a weaker field in store this time around, and Scheffler continuing to look the part as World No. 1, I want no part of betting against him.

Conceding this event to Scheffler from the get-go, I’m choosing to be in the Without Scheffler market, where I still see plenty of value to exploit. Considering the new course and extremely wet conditions, I’ve opted for a longer card of outrights, focusing on players who have proven success in Texas, and comparable birdie-fests.

With all of that in mind, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson:

  • Outrights — 3.5U in to pay 25U each
  • FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
  • Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
  • Props — 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each

CJ Cup Byron Nelson Bets: Outrights w/out Scheffler (3.5 Units)

Ryo Hisatsune

My Bet: +3100

Best Available Odds:

In a field bereft of in-form proven winners, Hisatsune stands out to me as one of the most capable and underrated values at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. Hisatsune has made the cut in each of his last 13 events now, with five top-15 finishes over that span. Prior to this breakout season on the PGA Tour, Hisatsune made a name for himself on the DP World Tour, winning the 2023 Cazoo Open de France at the age of 20.

Hisatsune is a talented all-around player with a game that translates on long courses (T2 at the Farmers Insurance Open) and positional ones (T8 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am). He’s been excellent in the state of Texas throughout his career, with top-10 finishes in three of his last four starts in the Lone Star state. He’ll look to improve on a career-best T13 finish at TPC Craig Ranch this week.

Davis Thompson

My Bet: +3100

Best Available Odds:

Birdie-fests are Thompson’s speciality, picking up his lone PGA Tour victory at the 2024 John Deere Classic at 28 under par. He also finished second to Jon Rahm at the 2023 American Express at 26 under par. Thompson is one of the hottest players in this field entering this week, finishing top-15 in each of his last three starts.

Thompson ranks 11th in my model this week, with top-10 ranks in SG: T2G, SG: APP, SG: Ball Striking, SG: TOT (Easy Scoring Conditions), and Comp Course History. He’s also had some favorable results in Texas, finishing T14 at the Valero Texas Open last month.

Mac Meissner

My Bet: +4500

Best Available Odds:

In a natural bye week for the best players in the world, you’ll be hard-pressed to find many players in this field who enter this event in good form. Mac Meissner belongs on that short list, however. He’ll enter this week on the heels of back-to-back top-10 finishes, and four straight top-30s.

Meissner is a very solid total driver, above Tour average in terms of both Driving Distance and Driving Accuracy. He should welcome the course overhaul at TPC Craig Ranch as well, as he’s yet to break through at this event. Colonial Country Club – which I believe is the best comp course to the new and improved TPC Craig Ranch – has been far kinder to Meissner. He’s finished T28 and T5 in his last two Charles Schwab Challenge starts.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout

My Bet: +4900

Best Available Odds:

Bezuidenhout is a Texas specialist, having gained the most strokes on Texas courses outside of Scottie Scheffler over the last 36 rounds. That includes eight top-25 finishes over his last 10 starts between the Valero Texas Open, Texas Children’s Houston Open, Charles Schwab Challenge, the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. His most consistent results have come at Colonial, which I believe will be the top overall comp course following TPC Crag Ranch’s latest renovation. Bezuidenhout has finished in the top 20 in each of his last four trips to the Charles Schwab Challenge.

There are concerns about Bezuidenhout’s ability to win a PGA Tour event, but that is less of a concern to me in the “Without Scheffler” market this week. Coincidentally, Bezuidenhout has “won” a PGA Tour event without actually winning it before, claiming first-place earnings at the 2024 American Express when amateur Nick Dunlap won. Perhaps a similar fate may be in store this week.

Adrien Dumont de Chassart

My Bet: +6400

Best Available Odds:

I am dubious about Lanny Wadkins’ vision for the new TPC Craig Ranch layout, and especially with rain and soft conditions expected, this should play out like another flavor of a birdie fest that pushes beyond 20 under par.

If 30 under par is required to win like it was last year, ADDC has that in his arsenal. He won the Compliance Solutions Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour last season at -33. More recently on the PGA Tour, we’ve seen him settle into form with consistency. He’s made the cut in each of his last seven starts with six top-30s over that stretch. Dumont de Chassart profiles as a pure bomber, which may prove to be advantageous on these generous fairways and soft conditions.

Marty Dou

My Bet: +9000

Best Available Odds:

Marty Supreme is gaining some steam this time of year. He is coming off of a season-best T13 in his most recent start in Myrtle Beach. That marks his fourth top-20 finish this PGA Tour season, an encouraging start to his first full season on Tour since 2023. Dou has a mediocre stat profile off the tee, but a generous second-shot layout like TPC Craig Ranch should help him mitigate those shortcomings. Otherwise, he’s been very consistent from fairway to green this season, ranking top-10 in SG: APP, SG: ARG, and Scrambling.

As a Dallas resident, Dou should have plenty of experience playing this course and playing this style of Texas golf in general. That familiarity has already manifested in a top-5 finish at this event back in 2023.

Best of luck if you bet or play any of these golf DFS picks for the CJ Cup Byron Nelson!

Chandler Blanchet

My Bet: +15000

Best Available Odds:

One of the most impressive ball strikers in his rookie class, ranking top-20 in terms of Proximity from inside 125 yards and beyond 200 yards. That’s encouraging on TPC Craig Ranch’s new layout, which effectively eliminates mid-iron approaches, and instead asks for a balanced offering of wedges and long irons.

Blanchet is a proven winner at the professional level, picking up multiple victories on the Korn Ferry Tour last season. At an event that offers so little resistance from both the course and field, I believe this is a week where the most recent Korn Ferry standouts can find success. Blanchet nearly won the Puerto Rico Open (solo 2nd), and has now gained strokes both off the tee and on approach in five consecutive starts.

CJ Cup Byron Nelson Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)

Beau Hossler

My Bet: +7000

Best Available Odds:

Everyone who has any affiliation with Texas is here in McKinney this week, and Hossler is one who will carry support from the local crowd. The University of Texas standout has shown some promising form in his most recent start, finishing T3 at the Myrtle Beach Classic. If his ball striking holds up, we know he’s capable of getting the flatstick to heat up in a putting contest.

Adrien Dumont de Chassart

My Bet: +7000

Best Available Odds:

If TPC Craig Ranch proves to be soaked in the opening round of this tournament, it may be the bombers like ADDC who stand to find the most birdie opportunities. He has a long history of going low on the Korn Ferry Tour and has shown good form of late, finishing top-30 in six of his last seven starts.

Sungjae Im

My Bet: +7000

Best Available Odds:

Sungjae’s shown a bit of rust as he plays himself back from injury. However, his issue has been more about consistently piecing four good rounds together than getting the most out of his good rounds. He paced the field in the opening round og the Truist Championship, and is too skilled a player to be available at odds this long in such a weak field.

Mac Meissner

My Bet: +7000

Best Available Odds:

Meissner possesses the combination of ball-striking form and spike putting upside I’m looking for in a First Round Leader hopeful. His above-average driving distance and solid form at the moment set him up for a high ceiling at TPC Craig Ranch.

Tom Hoge

My Bet: +9000

Best Available Odds:

It’s a home game for Tom Hoge, who will have all of the TCU faithful from his college days here to support him. With no Aaron Rai in the field, Hoge is a reliable stand-in option as a set-and-forget FRL play.

CJ Cup Byron Nelson Prop Bets (2.5 Units)

Full Tournament Matchup: Christiaan Bezuidenhout over Tom Kim

My Bet: -110

Bezuidenhout has been a top-30 machine in the state of Texas, with eight such finishes over his last 10 appearances. He’s played some of his best golf right here at TPC Craig Ranch, finishing T12 and T12 in his first two appearances.

Tom Kim is the bigger name in this matchup, but his greatest strength – driving accuracy – will be diminished on a course setup that will cede an extremely high fairway-in-regulation percentage to the field. Bezuidenhout wins the form matchup, leading in as well, with three top-35 finishes in his last three starts. Kim has two missed cuts over the same span.

Top-20 Finish: Christiaan Bezuidenhout

My Bet: +230

Best Available Odds:

It’s been rare to see Bezuidenhout contend on a Sunday despite his sustained run of quality starts, so the top-20 market presents the best opportunity to find value on the South African. If this does go on to be a putting contest, that will play right into Bezuidenhout’s hands, as he ranks top-10 in the field in SG: Putting.

Top-20 Finish: Mac Meissner

My Bet: +250

Best Available Odds:

There’s a lot to like about Meissner’s floor leading into this event, which tends to lend itself well to a placement bet like this. Meissner ranks 9th in SG: T2G over the last 16 rounds, with top-10 finishes in each of his last two starts.

One And Done

My Pick: Ryo Hisatsune

It’s an interesting week for OAD strategy. While this may be the easiest opportunity for Scottie Scheffler to win, it’s one of the lowest purses he’ll play for all season, and it’s certainly not the last time he will be a prohibitive favorite.

In the same light, it’s hard to feel conviction playing the other favorites like Si Woo Kim, Jordan Spieth, or Brooks Koepka, knowing what they’re up against with Scheffler at this course. Taking a more conservative route, I like Hisatsune as a play at TPC Craig Ranch, given his overall form and performance in comp conditions.

If not Hisatsune, I would also consider playing Davis Thompson, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, or Jordan Spieth in OAD.

That’ll do it for this week’s PGA TOUR golf bets. Best of luck this week with your own CJ Cup Byron Nelson bets, and see you on Sunday for the Charles Schwab Challenge preview.
