World Cup Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Tuesday, June 23, 2026
Tuesday brings us the last two Groups to play their second matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament is really hotting up now, with some sides already confirming their place in the Knockout Stage and others eliminated from the competition with another Group game to play.
Tuesday is no different with some exciting fixtures in store for us! The day starts off with Portugal vs Uzbekistan in Group K at 1pm ET. This one could confirm the elimination of Fabio Cannavaro’s side should they lose and DR Congo get at least a point against Colombia. Following on, we have the Group L game between England and Ghana at 4pm ET. A win for either side would almost certainly rubber stamp their progression to the Round of 32.
Then, Panama plays Croatia in Group L at 7pm ET. If either side loses, their World Cup dreams would almost certainly be over, depending on the result of the England v Ghana game. To finish the day’s fixtures, Colombia take on DR Congo at 10pm.
Let’s take a look at the best player prop picks for Tuesday’s action! Make sure to check out our World Cup match trends page for daily odds, insights and betting data for each game.
Tuesday’s Best 2026 World Cup Player Props
- Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+215)
- Declan Rice (England) Over 0.5 Assist
- Petar Musa (Croatia) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (-105)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+215)
Cristiano Ronaldo came in for some heavy criticism following Portugal’s opener against DR Congo. It’s true, he had a poor game, was inefficient and barely contributed as his side could only manage a 1-1 draw.
However, criticism spurs CR7 on. He’ll be determined to silence his critics and a game against Uzbekistan (despite the fact they have my current favorite centre half Abdukodir Khusanov playing for them) is likely to be the game that gets Ronaldo up and running in this year’s World Cup. He’s my pick to have at least two shots on target in this one.
Declan Rice (England) Over 0.5 Assist
There are some fitness concerns about Declan Rice as his side prepares for their clash against Ghana, but the England midfielder is still expected to start. He’s a vital cog in that England midfield and Thomas Tuchel would find it difficult to replace him.
Rice grabbed himself an assist as England beat Croatia 4-2 in their Group L opener and I expect him to do the same against Ghana. He’s England’s primary corner taker (Rice took eight corners against Croatia, with England scoring from one of them). It’s a tricky game for England, and set pieces will be considered a viable route to goal.
Petar Musa (Croatia) Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (-105)
Petar Musa was the subject of one of my player prop picks for the England v Ghana game. The striker scored an equaliser just before half time, he’ll once again be Croatia’s key man as they take on Panama.
This is a game Croatia should win, and comfortably so at that. A draw or an unthinkable defeat would mean they’d have to beat Ghana in their final Group L game to stand a chance of progressing to the Knockout Stage, which is a tough task. The European side will be looking to test Orlando Mosquera in the Panama goal often, with Musa being my choice to have at least two shots on target.
