Coming off of a World Series winning year, the Nationals did lose Anthony Rendon in free agency. This is certainly going to hurt the offense a bit, but this team is still very good. They made a few overlooked moves this offseason adding Starlin Castro, Eric Thames, and Will Harris. The star of this team is the rotation, where they have Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, and Patrick Corbin to kick things off. Anibal Sanchez is also not a bad fourth option. While the bullpen was up and down last year, if they can find consistent form, they could completely turn around their numbers. Washington will need a healthy year out of Trea Turner, who is one of the top shortstops in the game. You also have Juan Soto, who is just 21 years old, and already looking like one of the top hitters in baseball.
