3-2, 2nd NFC East
Despite reaching the Super Bowl a year ago, the Eagles 2023 schedule is actually less strong than league average by many metrics. That will undoubtedly be welcome news for Philly fans, who will be hoping for the team to make another run like last year’s, with just one more win at the end. The NFC East should be tough again, and the Birds get their divisional slate kicked off with week 4 and 8 matchups with the Commanders. Interestingly, none of the four Eagles primetime games are against divisional opponents, although the week 16 and 18 clashes with the Giants could be must-see television depending on each team’s positioning at that point. The week 9 and 14 clashes with the rival Cowboys will be highlights, and the nation’s eyes will be on a Super Bowl rematch in Kansas City coming after the Eagles’ week 10 bye.
