This Chargers’ offense could be something special this upcoming season. They have the promising franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert who has the physical traits and intangibles necessary to take them deep in the playoffs. They also have great receiving weapons around him, like Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, who can make plays if Herbert is in trouble. The Chargers aren’t only a passing team, however, as they have one of the best running backs in the league in Austin Ekeler who has no problem running over a player’s soul if he needs to. Ekeler is the guy in the running back room, but players like Justin Jackson and Josh Kelly are also on the roster to give a break to Ekeler. The Chargers have great secondary options at receiver and tight end as Jared Cook, Tyron Johnson, and rookie Josh Palmer are all nice safety blankets for Herbert to throw to.
