Nick Surianni will look to steer a sinking ship this season. After the Eagles dumped QB Carson Wentz to the Colts, QB Jalen Hurts was chosen as the guy who will bring them back to relevancy. This will not be easy considering the skill positions in the Eagles organization. Miles Sanders is a great pass catching running back, however, backup backs like Boston Scott, Jordan Howard, Kerryon Johnson aren’t a fraction of what Sanders is. If Sanders gets injured, then the Eagles are in trouble. The Eagles are also slowly building their receiving core and I do mean slowly. They drafted the speedy Devonta Smith and he should be the best considering that their other top receivers are Travis Fulgham, Jalen Raegor, and Greg Ward. The Eagles are decent at tight end as Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert are a great TE tandem to have. Look out for guys like WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside or TE Jason Croom if the starters start playing poorly or get injured.
