2026 MLB Divisional Futures Market
2026 AL East Odds Analysis
The AL East is likely to be the best division in baseball this season. Everyone is talking about the Yankees, Blue Jays, and Red Sox, but don’t sleep on the Orioles. This is a stacked offense led by Gunnar Henderson and Pete Alonso, while Taylor Ward and Samuel Basallo could be huge additions. Add in an underrated rotation with Kyle Bradish, Taylor Rogers, Shane Baz, and Zach Eflin, and you can see why this team can be a major problem.
2026 AL East MVP Contender to Watch
Gunnar Henderson is one year removed from putting up 7.9 WAR with a 154 wRC+. Last season was disappointing because Henderson got off to a slow start due to injury. Now fully healthy, look for Henderson to get back to 2024 production. If the Orioles are as good as I’m projecting, there’s a good chance that Henderson is a major reason why. That puts him firmly in play to win AL MVP this season.
Top Contender: Gunnar Henderson
2026 AL East Cy Young Contender to Watch
Garrett Crochet met lofty expectations in his first season with the Red Sox, putting up a 2.59 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with 46 walks and 255 strikeouts in 205.1 innings. As a high-volume pitcher with a high strikeout upside, Crochet has all the tools you need to win AL Cy Young. If he’s able to up similar production as last year, there’s a reasonable chance that he can take home this award.
Top Contender: Garrett Crochet
2026 AL Central Odds Analysis
The AL Central is headlined by the Tigers, especially after they signed Framber Valdez to form an impressive one-two punch with Tarik Skubal at the top of their rotation. Then you consider that top prospect Kevin McGonigle could be up sooner than later, and there’s a lot to like here. But don’t count out the Royals. They have an underrated offense, especially with the fences being moved in at Kauffman Stadium. Jac Caglianone is going to be a major breakout this season.
2026 AL Central MVP Contender to Watch
With a more favorable context due to ballpark changes, we could see a career-high in home runs from Bobby Witt Jr. This is an extremely talented hitter who has put up 8.0 WAR and 10.5 WAR in each of the last two seasons. That’s exactly the type of production that you need to dethrone Aaron Judge. If the Royals surprise and win the division, Witt will have a chance to win AL MVP.
Top Contender: Bobby Witt, Jr.
2026 AL Central Cy Young Contender to Watch
Cole Ragans is coming off an injury-plagued 2025 season, but what we saw was highly impressive. This included a 2.52 SIERA and 38.1% strikeout rate. The only question is health here. So far, so good in that regard. If Ragans can stay on the field for a full season, we could see 170+ innings with elite ratios and high strikeout totals. The talented lefty looks like a good value to win AL Cy Young.
Top Contender: Cole Ragans
2026 AL West Odds Analysis
The Mariners are the class of the AL West, boasting an impressive starting rotation with Bryan Woo, Logan Gilbert, George Kirby, and Luis Castillo. You also have to love the lineup with Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez. But it feels like the Astros are being a bit undervalued here. This team had 87 wins last year despite Yordan Alvarez being limited to only 48 games. If Alvarez can stay healthy, they could be even better.
2026 AL West MVP Contender to Watch
Julio Rodriguez has been worth 5.7, 5.8, 4.0, and 5.7 WAR in the first four years of his career. It’s hard to believe that he’s still only entering his age-25 season, but that’s exactly the case here. It feels like we haven’t seen the best of Julio just yet. He’s got 40-40 upside, having gone 30-30 in two of his last three seasons. If he can take his game to another level, there’s a chance that he can lock in AL MVP.
Top Contender: Julio Rodriguez
2026 AL West Cy Young Contender to Watch
Hunter Brown carried over an elite second half in 2024 with a terrific season in 2025, putting up a 2.43 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with 206 strikeouts in 185.1 innings. Brown checks off all the boxes you’re looking for with an AL Cy Young candidate: high volume with strikeouts. He’s become one of the most consistent starters in the big leagues, making him worth a look for this award.
Top Contender: Hunter Brown
2026 NL East Odds Analysis
The NL East is going to be one of the best divisions in baseball, with three World Series contenders at the top in the Mets, Phillies, and Braves. I’m putting my chips on the Mets this season, as I love what they did this offseason. Sure, they lost Pete Alonso and Edwin Diaz, but they have a more well-rounded team after bringing in Freddy Peralta, Bo Bichette, Luis Robert Jr., and Devin Williams. With a full season from Nolan McLean and a potential bounce back from Kodai Senga, this is a dangerous team.
2026 NL East MVP Contender to Watch
Ronald Acuña Jr. is fully healthy and ready to rock this year. Let’s remember that back in 2023, he put up a 9.2 WAR season. Acuña is ready to run wild once again, as we’ve seen him more aggressive on the basepaths in the Venezuelan league, during spring training, and even in the World Baseball Classic. There’s a chance that we see another 30-50 type of season, which is what you need to dethrone Shohei Ohtani.
Top Contender: Ronald Acuna Jr.
2026 NL East Cy Young Contender to Watch
Cristopher Sanchez has become a legitimate ace, putting up a 2.50 ERA and 1.06 WHIP with 212 strikeouts in 202 innings last season. You have to love the high volume and strong ratios in a potential NL Cy Young contender. Boasting an elite changeup, we could see even more strikeouts this time around. At +800 odds, Sanchez looks like a nice value to win this award.
Top Contender: Cristopher Sanchez
2026 NL Central Odds Analysis
The Cubs lost Kyle Tucker to free agency, but they made some sharp moves, bringing in Alex Bregman and Edward Cabrera. The Brewers are one of the best organizations in baseball at maximizing their talent, while the Reds have a lot of intriguing pieces. But my pick for a potential sleeper is the Pirates. Pittsburgh has a terrific rotation with Paul Skenes, Bubba Chandler, Braxton Ashcraft, and Mitch Keller. Wait until potential superstar Konnor Griffin is recalled from the minors.
2026 NL Central MVP Contender to Watch
Pete Crow-Armstrong is a dark horse to win NL MVP because of his elite defense. Despite a poor second half where his numbers fell off considerably, PCA still finished with a 5.4 WAR this season. If PCA can figure it out at the plate for a full season, he’ll be in play to win this award because of that elite glove. At +3500 odds, this is one of the best values on the board.
Top Contender: Pete Crow-Armstrong
2026 NL Central Cy Young Contender to Watch
Paul Skenes is the reigning NL MVP, and there’s no reason to pick another NL Central pitcher as our contender here. What we’ve seen from Skenes since being called up has been nothing short of spectacular. Now with an improved Pirates team that could contend for a playoff spot, Skenes could be in line for a career year.
Top Contender: Paul Skenes
2026 NL West Odds Analysis
The Dodgers are massive favorites to win the World Series after signing the best free agent in Kyle Tucker, and the best closer in Edwin Diaz. It’s hard to see a scenario where they don’t win the NL West. In terms of the next-best team, don’t count out the Giants, who have an underrated lineup with Rafael Devers, Willy Adames, and Heliot Ramos. Bringing in Tyler Mahle was a low-key nice move as a dependable veteran who can have better numbers due to a pitcher-friendly environment.
2026 NL West MVP Contender to Watch
Jackson Merrill is a nice bounce-back candidate. After putting up 5.3 WAR in his age-21 season, Merrill fell to 3.0 WAR in 115 games last year. If the Padres can shock the world and win the NL West with Merrill leading the way, perhaps he can have a chance to win this award. At +5500 odds, it’s a worthy dart throw to see what happens.
Top Contender: Jackson Merrill
2026 NL West Cy Young Contender to Watch
Yoshinobu Yamamoto has established himself as one of the best pitchers in baseball, especially after that unbelievable performance in the World Series. The one concern is that the Dodgers have elite pitching depth, with the luxury of not having to push Yamamoto too hard. That lack of volume could affect his chances at winning the NL Cy Young. With that said, the ratios should be elite, keeping him in contention.
Top Contender: Yoshinobu Yamamoto
2026 MLB World Series Futures Market
The Dodgers are one of the heaviest favorites to win the World Series in recent memory. Below is a full list of World Series odds for the 2026 MLB season.
2026 MLB World Series Odds Analysis
There are several candidates to usurp the Dodgers from the throne. The Blue Jays did a good job addressing their starting rotation. The Yankees are always a threat with Judge. The Red Sox are stacked with young talent. The Mariners have a well-rounded roster. The Phillies have a ton of playoff experience. The Braves could bounce back with their hitters healthy. But I’ve landed on one team to win the World Series, with a surprise finalist from the American League.
2026 MLB World Series Prediction
The Mets have all the pieces to win the World Series. Their lineup is strong with Juan Soto, Francisco Lindor, Bo Bichette, and Luis Robert Jr. They also have a few breakout candidates in Francisco Alvarez, Carson Benge, and Brett Baty. Jorge Polanco is also a dependable veteran who can get on base and come up with some timely hits.
Then you look at the rotation. Freddy Peralta is a legitimate ace. Nolan McLean is one of the most talented young pitchers in baseball. Kodai Senga looks back to his previous form this spring. Then you have a few dependable veterans in David Peterson, Clay Holmes, and Sean Manaea, with prospects like Jonah Tong and Christian Scott hot on their heels.
The bullpen lost Edwin Diaz, but Devin Williams is one of the easiest bounce-back calls in all of baseball. Look deeper than his outlier bloated ERA, as the strikeouts were still there. Williams should be able to get back to being one of the best closers in MLB.
The last factor may be the most important: this team is aggressive. Owner Steve Cohen will make the necessary push to add at the trade deadline to put this roster over the top. What if the Mets trade for Tarik Skubal, who is a free agent after the year? It’s certainly not out of the realm of possibilities. That would make them an even more dangerous team.
As for the Orioles, this is an underrated team where everything went wrong last year. They’re only one year removed from winning 91 games. Now, they added a proven slugger in Pete Alonso and an underrated power hitter in Taylor Ward. Rookie Samuel Basallo has legit 30+ home run power, while Kyle Bradish is a dark horse Cy Young candidate. Bringing in Ryan Helsley also shores up the bullpen.
The O’s are loaded with young talent and look ready for a major leap this season. This World Series matchup would be super interesting, with Alonso facing his old team. Each of these teams has relatively longshot odds to win the World Series, so you can get some value with this pick. With that in mind, give me the Mets over the Orioles in the 2026 World Series.
