Alisson Becker 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +500
Alisson Becker enters the 2026 World Cup as the top starting goalkeeper in the competition. The Liverpool keeper is expected to start over Ederson as he prepares for his third World Cup with A Seleção. Alisson started Brazil’s most recent friendly, playing 45 minutes and conceding one goal.
Brazil’s first-choice keeper has started all but one of A Seleção’s World Cup games since 2018. Due to fitness issues sustained in England, Alisson missed half of the World Cup qualifiers, appearing in just nine of the 18 matches. Brazil kept four clean sheets with Alisson in goal, conceding 0.7 goals per game during the qualifiers. He also made 2.9 saves per game in that stretch, saving 81% of shots on target.
Despite manager Carlo Ancelotti stating the starting lineup has not yet been finalized, Alisson is a safe bet to keep his spot as A Seleção’s first-choice keeper. The 33-year-old enters the tournament with +500 odds of winning the Golden Glove, having won the award once before with Brazil at the 2019 Copa América.
Thibaut Courtois 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +2000
Belgium’s Thibaut Courtois is heading into his third World Cup, having started every game in the competition to date. The Red Devils continue to rely on the 34-year-old, though they have two young keepers who could push for the spot in the coming years. For now, Courtois can comfortably be considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world heading into the 2026 World Cup.
The Real Madrid keeper has been one of Belgium’s most consistent players in this competition despite disappointing results in 2022. Courtois helped lead the Red Devils to a third-place finish in 2018, but the team failed to advance past the group stage four years later. He conceded just 0.7 goals per game and made three saves per contest, but received little support from the attack across their three games.
Belgium will feel the pressure to improve on that performance when they travel to the Americas for the 2026 World Cup. Courtois looked strong in the World Cup qualifiers, keeping a clean sheet in three of the four matches he featured in. He enters the competition at +2000 to win the Golden Glove, having previously won the award at his debut World Cup in 2018.
Emiliano Martinez 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +400
The 2022 World Cup Golden Glove winner will look to have another legendary run in this year’s tournament. Emiliano Martinez cemented his legacy in 2022, making incredible saves and winning the penalty shootout for Argentina in the World Cup final. After a strong season at Aston Villa, El Dibu is ready for a repeat this summer.
Martinez arrives fresh off a Europa League title with Aston Villa. The 33-year-old is about as decorated as a goalkeeper can be, having won multiple Golden Gloves, Yashin Trophies, and FIFA Best Men’s Goalkeeper Awards. He is the current favorite to win the Golden Glove in back-to-back tournaments at +400, which would make him the first goalkeeper to accomplish that feat in World Cup history.
El Dibu looked strong during the World Cup qualifiers, keeping 10 clean sheets in 16 matches, making 1.5 saves per game, and conceding just 0.6 goals per game. Between a solid season for club and country, Martinez is well-positioned for another strong showing as Argentina pushes to win back-to-back World Cups.
Unai Simon 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +450
Spain’s manager, Luis De La Fuente, will stick with Unai Simon as the first-choice keeper heading into the 2026 World Cup. The Spanish captain has helped lead his country to two final appearances since the 2022 World Cup, winning the Euros in 2024 before losing to Portugal on penalties in the Nations League last year.
Despite strong performances from backups David Raya and Joan Garcia, De La Fuente will continue to start Simon, at least to begin the competition. The 28-year-old started all six matches for Spain during the World Cup qualifiers, keeping a clean sheet in five of them. Turkey was the only team to score against Simon, doing so twice in the final qualifier.
With Spain’s continued success, Simon is being given the second-lowest odds to win his first Golden Glove this summer. If Spain performs as well as it has in its last two tournaments, Simon would be a big reason why. On the other hand, De La Fuente could face criticism for not starting Raya or Garcia if Spain falls short of expectations.
Mike Maignan 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +600
France’s Mike Maignan is set to feature in his first World Cup this summer. The 30-year-old has made 38 appearances for Les Bleus and will be looking for his first major trophy with his country as the undisputed first-choice keeper.
The AC Milan keeper has shown flashes of greatness but lacks consistency at times. Spain has gotten the better of him in both the Nations League and Euros over the past two years. He performed slightly better during the World Cup qualifiers, starting five of nine matches and conceding three goals in that span.
Maignan has proven effective against lower-level opposition but has struggled against sides of similar quality to France. He has the fourth-lowest odds to win his first Golden Glove at +600.
Diogo Costa 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +1000
Portugal’s Diogo Costa lands just outside our top five heading into the 2026 World Cup. The Porto goalkeeper will be attending his second World Cup as Portugal’s first choice, having started all five games in 2022.
At just 26 years old, Costa has developed into one of Europe’s better keepers and is just now entering his physical prime. The 6’1″ keeper is considered on the shorter side for his position and has had some difficulty commanding his penalty area as a result.
Despite a favorable qualifying draw, Costa and the Portuguese defense struggled more than expected. He conceded 1.2 goals per game across six matches, making just 1.5 saves per game. Costa was a key figure in Porto’s Liga Portugal title this season, conceding a league-low 18 goals in 34 matches.
He enters the tournament with the eighth-lowest odds to win his first Golden Glove at +1000, looking to improve on a 2022 campaign in which he conceded six goals in five matches.
Manuel Neuer 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +1600
Manuel Neuer is expected to feature in his third World Cup after coming out of international retirement earlier this year. Despite a highly successful club career, Germany has struggled with Neuer in goal at the international level, failing to advance past the group stage in each of his two tournaments as the starter. The now 40-year-old will hope to change that in what are likely his final international appearances.
Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann, who previously coached Neuer at Bayern Munich, is credited with convincing the veteran to end his two-year international retirement. The Bayern legend has continued to perform well in the Bundesliga, helping his club win back-to-back German titles over the past two seasons.
Neuer finished the Bundesliga season conceding fewer than one goal per game, the lowest rate in the German top flight, and kept 10 clean sheets in 37 appearances for Bayern across all competitions. He is +1600 to win the Golden Glove, with most books still catching up following his surprise return to international football.
Jordan Pickford 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +700
Despite several strong goalkeeping options available, England manager Thomas Tuchel will stick with Jordan Pickford heading into the 2026 World Cup. Pickford has served as the Three Lions’ first-choice keeper at both the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
The Everton keeper put together a strong club season with 11 clean sheets in the Premier League. Pickford and the English defense were impressive during the World Cup qualifiers, not conceding a single goal across eight games. The 32-year-old started seven of those matches and was forced to make just three saves combined.
Pickford enters his third World Cup with +700 odds of winning his second Golden Glove, having previously claimed the honor at Euro 2020. He kept three clean sheets in five matches in 2022, conceding just four goals across the competition.
David Raya 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +700
Raya makes our top ten despite his playing time not being guaranteed heading into the tournament. He will be attending his second World Cup but has yet to make an appearance in the competition, earning just 12 caps for Spain despite being considered one of the best keepers in the world at club level.
The 30-year-old arrives at the 2026 World Cup off a Premier League-winning season with Arsenal, keeping an impressive 28 clean sheets in 51 appearances across all competitions. He conceded just five goals in 14 Champions League matches, finishing as a runner-up in Europe’s top club competition.
Even with uncertainty around his playing time this summer, Raya earns his place on this list based on what he has consistently shown at Arsenal. Despite not being Spain’s first choice, he still enters the tournament with the sixth-lowest odds of winning the Golden Glove at +700.
Bart Verbruggen 2026 World Cup Odds & Analysis
Golden Glove Odds: +2000
The Netherlands’ Bart Verbruggen rounds out our list as he prepares to feature in his first World Cup as the Dutch first-choice goalkeeper at just 23 years old. Verbruggen has steadily improved for both club and country and could use the international stage to announce himself as one of the brightest young keepers in the game.
Verbruggen enters his first World Cup following a strong season at Brighton in the Premier League. The Dutchman finished just outside the top ten in saves per game with 2.8 and was also key in Brighton’s build-up play, leading all goalkeepers with 31 accurate passes per game – a style that should translate well under Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman.
The Dutch keeper performed well during the World Cup qualifiers, keeping three clean sheets in six games, and impressed during the Nations League, making three saves per contest en route to a quarterfinal appearance against Spain. Verbruggen is +2000 to win the first Golden Glove of his young career.
