Caesars Sportsbook Virginia: $1,000 First Bet Bonus With Promo Code “LINEUPS1000”
Contents
In early 2020, Virginia became the second state to legalize online sports betting, following the state of Washington. In March 2020, the Virginia General Assembly and Senate passed SB 384 and HB 896, two bills that laid the groundwork for sports betting. Online sports betting launched in January 2021, and with a 15% tax rate for operators, the sports betting industry has been a boon to Virginia’s economy.
Caesars Sportsbook is going to be a major part of the Virginia sports betting market following its launch. Caesars acquired William Hill, the U.K.-based company, in April 2021 and will rebrand the sportsbook as an extension of the renowned Caesars company. Caesars Sportsbook passes our editor’s 3-Point Check and is a fully legal and regulated sportsbook in the United States. It’s one of our favorite providers to sign up within the state of Virginia.

Caesars Sportsbook Desktop Review
Caesars Sportsbook will garner a ton of attention for its cutting-edge mobile application, but the desktop website is arguably even smoother and easier to use. The main page features the top games for the day, including a wide variety of InPlay or live bets and several boosts on various prop bets. For example, the Blue Jays to earn a shutout win is currently boosted from +675 to +800.
Caesars Casino is integrated seamlessly in the same platform, as well. The Caesars desktop makes it easy to find the sport you want to bet on with a scrolling menu at the top of your screen as well as a dropdown menu at the bottom with every sport listed A-Z. The Caesars Sportsbook bet slip is straightforward to use with a straight bet and parlay functionality, as well as the option to view your open bets.
One way to improve the desktop bet slip would be to place a bet based on a specific payout amount rather than the wager amount. All in all, Caesars provides a seamless user interface, a variety of sports and wagers, and reliable functionality for a superb desktop betting experience.

Top 3 Reasons to Bet With Caesars Sportsbook
There are several available sportsbooks for bettors to play with, but Caesars is one of our staff’s absolute favorites. This is especially true following the integration of William Hill as their sports betting user interface, and functionality finally matches the top-notch customer offerings Caesars is known for. The following are three of the reasons our staff loves to bet with Caesars Sportsbook.
Caesars Rewards
Following the integration between Caesars Sportsbook and William Hill, the sportsbook will still offer Caesars Rewards. With one of the best loyalty programs in the business, Caesars offers its players points that can be redeemed for cash prizes, travel rewards, and in-person casino money; points are earned with every real-money bet placed through the sports betting app. There are very few sportsbooks backed by a gambling company with the type of reach Caesars has, and they leverage that reach in their rewards program.
Excellent Promotions
Caesars also offers awesome promotions for existing users. They have a 100% profit boost, the potential to earn credits based on activity, and all sorts of fun bonuses and odds boosts. Caesars does a great job with its promotions.
Banking Functionality
Caesars Sportsbook has more banking options than you could ever need, and depositing and withdrawing money in your Caesars Sportsbook account is fast, easy, and secure. Caesars provides such methods as echeck, Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Cash at Cage, PayNearMe, Neteller, online banking, and even checks. Caesars Sportsbook does not charge any fees for deposits and withdrawals, and it offers the utmost safety for banking transactions.
Virginia Legal Sports Betting History
The quick nature of sports betting legislation in the state came as a surprise as Virginia is currently one of the few states with no casinos. However, retail casinos were approved in Bristol, Danville, Portsmouth, Norfolk, and Richmond on November 3, 2020, and mobile sports betting followed close behind.
Mobile sports betting was approved in Virginia following a detailed legislative process. In March 2020, the Virginia General Assembly and Senate passed SB 384 and HB 896, respectively, which were later approved and amended by General Ralph Northam. On April 22, 2020, lawmakers approved Northam’s amended bills. These bills pave a path for at least four mobile books and up to 12 mobile books, although that doesn’t account for licenses given to pro sports teams or venues.
Virginia Sports Betting Rules and Regulations
While Virginia is expected to have a lucrative professional sports betting industry, it is one of the few teams that will have no legalized betting on college sports at this point. That will be disappointing for fans of the Virginia Cavaliers and Virginia Tech Hokies. Virginia will issue three-year licenses to sportsbooks in the state on a sliding scale.
Originally, the bills called for a flat $250,000 license fee, but Governor Northam amended that to $50,000 per principal within each organization; a principal is defined as an individual with a 5% or more ownership stake. The tax rate for sportsbooks is set at 15%. The Virginia bills also require operators to pay to access “official league data” and provide leagues with “real-time” data, both of which strain the operators.
These rules are fairly standard in most states, and Virginia is expected to excel as a strong betting market with almost 9 million residents and up to 17 online sportsbooks at the time of full maturity.
Caesars Sportsbook Virginia Future Bet
Washington Football Team to win the NFC East: +260
The NFC East was a dumpster fire last season as Washington won it with just a 7-9 record as the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants struggled to be competitive. Washington’s defense was one of the very best in the league as they ranked fourth in the NFL in points allowed and second in yards allowed. Rookie first overall pick Chase Young had 12 QB hits and 7.5 sacks and made the Pro Bowl while Montez Sweat racked up 20 QB hits and 9 sacks across from him. Washington replaced cornerback Ronald Darby with William Jackson III, arguably an upgrade at the position, while a return to health for Landon Collins will be huge for the secondary. I’m very excited about rookie linebacker Jamin Davis as well.
The real question for Washington lies on the offensive side of the ball. The trifecta of Alex Smith, Dwayne Haskins, and Kyle Allen didn’t cut the mustard last year as they combined to throw for the eighth-fewest yards and fifth-fewest touchdowns in the league. Ryan Fitzpatrick is coming off a season with 13 touchdowns in 7 starts for the Dolphins. He’ll have some exciting skill position talent at his disposal in wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel and running backs Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic. A significant increase in offensive output should be on the way, and combined with an elite defense, Washington should be the favorite to come out of the NFC East, in my estimation. +260 odds are frankly absurd, and I’ll be taking that number every day of the week.
