Georgia Bulldogs 2026 College Football Preview, Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions

Even after going 11-1 and winning the SEC Conference Championship, it still felt like a disappointing year for Georgia who were unable to build on their momentum in the College Football Playoff. Heading into 2026, expect the Bulldogs to remain in contention for the National Championship, bringing with them a majority of their starters who led them to top-40 marks in Success Rate on both sides of the ball.

Georgia Bulldogs 2026 College Football National Championship Odds

National Title Odds:

In Gunner Stockton’s first year as their starting quarterback, Georgia was able to put together a productive 2025-26 campaign, blitzing their way through their schedule en-route to an SEC Championship. Stockton’s efficiency played a major role in their success, finishing the year throwing for 2,894 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions while completing nearly 70.0% of his passes.

On the other side of the ball, the Bulldogs defense harshly regressed after years of dominance, ranking outside the top-60 in Def PPA and in Havoc. With their defense struggling to give their offense the production they needed to be a well rounded contender, Georgia was unable to combat against the extra variance in their contests, leading to a stunning early exit in the playoffs.

Heading into 2026, continuity is on Georgia’s side, a shocking revelation in the transfer portal era. Especially since Kirby Smart took the reins as their head coach, having to deal with turnover year in and year out. With familiar faces littered all over their depth chart on both sides of the ball, the Bulldogs are expected to brush aside regression, giving them the edge they need to separate themselves from the top tier competition in the SEC.

Speaking of the SEC, the Bulldogs are projected to be a favorite in every game on their schedule. After a tune up game against Arkansas, the Bulldogs get the benefit of hosting Oklahoma. Georgia’s next test would then be a road game against Alabama who are poised to take a step back after an underwhelming offseason. To end their year, the Bulldogs will look to get their revenge against Ole Miss who possess plenty of question marks after Lane Kiffin’s departure.

With continuity on their side, as well as bringing in another productive recruiting class and crop of transfers, the Bulldogs possess one of the most talented rosters in the nation, making them one of the clear cut favorites to win the title. Bet the Bulldogs to win the National Championship now before their odds plummet while they rack up the wins throughout the regular season.

Georgia Bulldogs 2026 SEC Championship Odds

SEC Title Odds:

Heading into 2026, the SEC has changed their schedule to feature nine conference games, giving the likes of Georgia, Texas, Alabama, and LSU another potential road block in their efforts of creating separation from each other. Luckily for the Bulldogs, they managed to draw a favorable schedule when compared to the other top contenders, giving them the edge they need to make the SEC Conference Championship.

Digging further into their slate, there are plenty of favorable spots in the middle of the regular season, including catching Vanderbilt on the second half of their road tour. Later in the year, the Bulldogs receive a much needed bye before playing Florida on a neutral field, lowering their chances of getting burned by wear and tear.

One spot to monitor is their home date against Auburn as they play the Tigers the week after their road game against Alabama, potentially sleepwalking their way into a loss. Especially with Auburn fresh off of a bye week, buying themselves some extra time to develop a game plan.

Still, with clear advantages on both sides of the ball, it’s hard to envision the Bulldogs dropping more than one game in conference play, being more than enough to make the conference championship. Place a wager on the Bulldogs to win the SEC with no intentions of hedging until the conference championship.

Georgia Bulldogs 2026 Win Total Odds

Win Total Odds:

After winning 11 games last year, oddsmakers believe the Bulldogs are poised to win 10 or more again this season, listing their regular season win total at 9.5 juiced to the over. I am in agreement after dissecting their schedule, as well as factoring in the continuity they bring on both sides of the ball to help reduce the amount of variance in their contests early on in the year while they iron out their kinks, making the over worth a wager at their current odds.

Georgia Bulldogs 2026 Heisman Contenders, Odds

Gunner Stockton, QB:
Nate Frazier, RB:

With Stockton back under center, oddsmakers believe the Bulldogs quarterback will be one of the top contenders to compete for the Heisman, listing him at around +1800 to win the award. Stockton’s dual threat ability will help draw media attention while putting up eye popping stats on a weekly basis, shining the spotlight brighter on him as the season progresses.

Joining Stockton on the oddsboard is Nate Frazier, the Bulldogs leading rusher in 2025. When in the open field, Frazier has been efficient with his attempts, averaging 5.5 Yards per Carry. Unfortunately for Frazier, Stockton’s running ability will chip away at his workload, making it very tough for him to build a case for the award, making him a pass at his lofty odds.
