Especially since Kirby Smart took the reins as their head coach, having to deal with turnover year in and year out. Luckily for the Bulldogs, they managed to draw a favorable schedule when compared to the other top contenders, giving them the edge they need to make the SEC Conference Championship.

Digging further into their slate, there are plenty of favorable spots in the middle of the regular season, including catching Vanderbilt on the second half of their road tour. Later in the year, the Bulldogs receive a much needed bye before playing Florida on a neutral field, lowering their chances of getting burned by wear and tear.

One spot to monitor is their home date against Auburn as they play the Tigers the week after their road game against Alabama, potentially sleepwalking their way into a loss. Especially with Auburn fresh off of a bye week, buying themselves some extra time to develop a game plan.
