San Jose State vs. USC Game Betting Analysis
This one is tricky, let’s start with the total. USC averaged 60.9 points per home game last season, so the Over might not be a bad look. Also factor last season’s O/U record slightly favors the Over when combing schools at 14-11. USC has hit the Over in its last four games when playing in August, while San Jose State saw at least one team score a ridiculous 45 points or more in three of its final five games. We have setbacks here, however, such as the Spartans hitting the Under in 10 of 11 season opening games on the road. San Jose State has also gone Under in six of seven road games as the underdog.
USC ended the season on an ATS skid as well, failing to cover the spread in its last four games with the underdog covering three of the Trojans last four games. USC has actually seen the underdog cover the spread in five of its last seven games, while San Jose State has also covered the spread in seven straight non-conference road games. Conviction isn’t high but we’ll go with the underdog to cover along with the Under, in that order, but not our strongest conviction for Saturday.
