Miami-Florida Hurricanes 2026 College Football Preview, Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions
After squeaking into the College Football Playoff in the last poll of the season, the Miami Hurricanes were able to take advantage of their opportunity and make a run to the National Championship. Even though they failed to win it, the future is still bright with the Hurricanes head and shoulders better than the rest of their conference. While another deep run in the playoffs may be out of their reach, there are plenty of other ways to bet the Hurricanes in 2026.

Miami-Florida Hurricanes 2026 College Football National Championship Odds
National Title Odds:
Just when it looked like Mario Cristobal’s seat was starting to catch fire, he managed to cool off the flames by leading the Miami Hurricanes to the National Championship. An unfathomable feat when factoring in their path to the finals, having to go through Texas A&M and Ohio State just to reach the semifinals. Loss to Indiana aside, it was still a fantastic year for the program.
Heading into this season, question marks loom over the Hurricanes on both sides of the ball after losing a bulk of their production in the trenches to the NFL Draft. While the Hurricanes did manage to re-tool their roster by bringing in a highly touted group of transfers and recruits, it will be tough to replicate the same success they had last year, finishing the season ranked in the top-20 in Success Rate.
The Hurricanes also need to intregate a new face at quarterback with Darian Mensah filling in for Carson Beck, a productive signal caller during his time with Duke, finishing last year throwing for 3,973 yards and 34 touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes. With plenty of talent surrounding him, expect Mensah to keep the Hurricanes offense a float, chipping away at the amount of variance in their contests in the process.
Digging into their schedule, the Hurricanes are projected to be the betting favorites in 11 of their 12 games, creating a favorable path to the playoffs should they capitalize on their friendly slate. Outside of a highly anticipated matchup against Notre Dame, there are no tricky schedule spots where outside factors may cause the Hurricanes to slip up, making it easier for them to string together their wins.
While I do believe the Hurricanes will be able to put together a very productive year, it’s tough to justify a wager on them to win the National Championship at their current odds until we see how they perform with so many new faces in key positions. Pass on Miami for now, but monitor them on a weekly basis for a potential mid season wager.

Miami-Florida Hurricanes 2026 ACC Championship Odds
ACC Title Odds:
Even with so much turnover on both sides of the ball, the Hurricanes are in a tier of their own when compared to the rest of the conference. Oddsmakers are in agreement, listing the Hurricanes as the clear cut betting favorite to win the ACC Conference Championship.
Their conference schedule is very advantageous in their efforts of making a run to the title game, kicking things off with a favorable matchup against Wake Forest before battling it out against Clemson who are poised to regress. After their bye week, the Hurricanes host Florida State and Pittsburgh as sizable favorites in both contests. To end their year, Miami draws three more home games, hosting the likes of Duke, Virginia Tech, and Boston College.
With Miami projected to be at minimum a touchdown favorite in every conference game, the Hurricanes have a great opportunity to go 9-0 and stamp their ticket to the conference championship. Even at their current odds, place a wager on Miami to win the ACC Conference Championship.

Miami-Florida Hurricanes 2026 Win Total Odds
Win Total Odds:
With the Hurricanes drawing a very easy schedule, oddsmakers believe they will rattle off double digit wins, listing their win total at 10.5. Even with Miami projected to be a heavy betting favorite in 11 of their 12 games, the room for error is razor thin for those looking to bet the over. Especially with the Fighting Irish expected to have advantages on both sides of the ball, meaning Miami would have to go perfect in their other 11 games just to clear their total.

Miami-Florida 2026 Heisman Contenders, Odds
Darian Mensah, QB:
Malachi Toney, WR:
Mark Fletcher Jr., RB:
With Mensah under center, oddsmakers are high on the former Blue Devil, listing the Hurricanes newly acquired quarterback as one of the betting favorites to win the Heisman. Mensah will certainly have the ability to compete with the other top contenders by using Miami’s favorable schedule to stuff the stat sheet on a weekly basis.
Joining Mensah in the top half of the oddsboard is Malachi Toney, his number one wide receiver who is projected to receive a majority of the workload in their pass attack. Unfortunately for Toney, his usage is too correlated to Mensah’s while surrounded by other productive pass catchers, making it too difficult for him to build a strong enough case to dethrone his quarterback for the award.
Near the bottom of the oddsboard, Mark Fletcher Jr. can be found around +18000, the Hurricanes starting running back who rushed for nearly 1,200 yards last season. If Fletcher can carve out a role as a viable pass catcher out of their back field while replicating last year’s results on the ground, then he may be worth a sprinkle at his current odds to win the award.
Bet: Yes – Mark Fletcher Jr.
