Oregon Ducks 2026 College Football Preview, Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions
In an era where the transfer portal is as rampant as ever, it’s stunning to see how many players Oregon has retained, bringing back 14 starters who are fresh off of a trip to the semifinals in the College Football Playoff. With continuity on both sides of the ball, as well as the productive addition of others, the Ducks are in a great position to pick up from where they left off and contend for the National Championship.

Oregon Ducks 2026 College Football National Championship Odds
National Title Odds:
Since hiring Dan Lanning, the Oregon Ducks have been able to linger in contention for the National Championship, yet have failed to make an appearance in the finals. While the quality of talent certainly stands out on paper, bringing it all together in the most pivotal moments has been a constant thorn in their side.
With Dante Moore making his return under center, the Ducks offense will potentially be in a tier of their own, leading their team to another deep run in the playoffs. Especially with the Ducks retaining a bulk of their production at wideout, surrounding Moore with Evan Stewart and Dakorien Moore who both excel at creating space.
Jordan Davidson and Dierre Hill also make their return to the backfield, giving the Ducks a dynamic one-two punch to help complement their offense. With their ground game giving the Ducks the production they need to be a well rounded offense, they will be able to contend with the best defenses in the nation when the quality of opponent ramps up.
On the other side of the ball, the Ducks secondary will be a unit to watch, fielding plenty of ball hawks who can flip the field in a flash. Their front seven still has some question marks that need to be answered, yet their depth will at least help them brush aside any regression that may be looming once wear and tear rears its ugly head in the midst of a grueling season.
At +800, the Ducks are one of my favorite National Championship futures to add to the portfolio, giving you plenty of meat on the bone to play around with the further they make it into the playoffs. Buy Oregon now before their odds steadily decline.

Oregon Ducks 2026 Big Ten Championship Odds
Big Ten Title Odds:
While the Ducks are a near lock to make the playoffs, their chances of winning the Big Ten are far more daunting. Even though they get the benefit of avoiding Indiana on their schedule, Oregon draws a brutal stretch of games later in the year, having to hit the road to battle it out against Ohio State before turning around to host Michigan the following week.
Fortunately for Oregon, the Buckeyes travel to California to face off against USC the week before they play the Ducks, slightly diminishing their home field advantage while on a short week. As a small underdog, the Ducks will take any advantage they can get to generate the upset, putting them in the driver’s seat for the Big Ten Championship.
At a short number, you can pass on betting the Ducks for now, giving you time to monitor how Ohio State and Indiana look before firing on them later on in the year. The two battle it out October 17th, giving us a great opportunity to match Ohio State’s metrics against Oregon to get a better read on how the Ducks and Buckeyes game may shake out.

Oregon Ducks 2026 Win Total Odds
Win Total Odds:
At 10.5 juiced to the under, the Ducks are fairly priced given their rough travel schedule to end their year. Even though they are projected to be the favorite in 11 of their 12 games, their handful of near coin flip projections hold me back from firing on the over. Should a book post a flat ten, then I would consider betting the over knowing I at least have the opportunity to get my money back on a push.

Oregon Ducks 2026 Heisman Contenders, Odds
Dante Moore, QB:
Dylan Raiola, QB:
Even when loaded with talent, oddsmakers believe Moore is the only player on the Ducks roster capable of winning the Heisman, listing him at around +1000. His backup Dylan Raiola can be found further down the board, but his only hope of winning is if Moore suffers a long term injury. Dakorien Moore is also listed around +15000, yet is heavily dependent on his QB’s production while surrounded by too many playmakers who will eat away at his target share.
Circling back to Dante Moore, the former UCLA Bruin got off to a rough start to his career, treading on near bust status before finding his footing with the Ducks. His efficiency rivaled the top of the Big Ten, finishing sixth in Quarterback EPA per Play last season. With a familiar cast of playmakers surrounding him, Moore is projected to take a step up with his production under center, potentially separating himself as the top quarterback in the conference.
While I normally wait to target the Heisman market until later on in the year, I am placing a small wager on Moore at 10-1, as well as attacking the other top contenders before their odds trickle down as the season progresses. Especially if the Ducks live up to the hype and are able to dethrone the Buckeyes, catapulting Moore up to the top of the oddsboard to win the award.
Bet: Yes – Dante Moore
