PGA Tour Golf Odds, Picks, Predictions: Final 2026 Genesis Invitational Open Betting Card, OAD
Genesis Invitational bets are here at the best golf betting sites, as Riviera CC gets ready to host in Los Angeles. First-round play begins Thursday. Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Xander Schauffele headline Genesis Invitational bets this week, as John Haslbauer provides his favorite picks among all the golf odds for this tourney. Below, you’ll find the best odds across betting apps for each player.
The final event of the West Coast swing is here at last, as 72 of the PGA TOUR’s best will head to Riviera Country Club for Tiger Woods’ event, the Genesis Invitational.
It’s been an extra year’s wait since we last saw Riviera CC, as this event was relocated to Torrey Pines due to the wildfires in Los Angeles last year. It is historically an event that has rewarded the most skilled all-around players, with a striking correlation to success at The Masters given the importance of Distance, shot-shaping, and touch around the greens.
Below, we’ll go through all the bets I’ve placed for the 2026 Genesis Invitational

How I Built My Genesis Invitational Betting Card
I’ve opted for a more balanced card at the 2026 Genesis Invitational, which has opened the door for many different styles of in-form players with a proven track record on positional venues. Given the limited field and Scottie Scheffler’s inconsistent putting metrics on Poa greens, I’ve decided to take the World No. 1 head-on in the standard outright markets.
From a unit exposure perspective, the 2026 Genesis Invitational will again offer the usual risk/reward split for outrights and prop bets.
- Outright Genesis Invitational bets — 3.5U in to pay 25U each
- FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
- Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
- Props — 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each
Genesis Invitational Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)
Tommy Fleetwood
My Bet: +2200
Tommy Fleetwood was not my first bet placed, but as the week went on, I struggled to come up with any reason not to like him. Fleetwood is seemingly a changed man since getting the monkey off his back and winning his first career PGA TOUR event at the TOUR Championship last August. Having picked up another win at the DP World India Championship in November, that makes four top-5 finishes over his last six starts.
He showed no signs of rust or jet lag in his first start of the 2026 PGA TOUR season last week, finishing T4 at Pebble Beach and gaining across all four Strokes Gained categories in the process. Riviera CC will reward Fleetwood’s prowess as an elite shot shaper and scrambler in difficult conditions. He’ll look to improve on a career-best T10 finish in his most recent appearance at Riviera.
Cameron Young
My Bet: +3500
The first bet I did in fact bet this week is my on-record pick to win and spotlight feature, Cameron Young. It was at this event in 2022 where Young burst onto the scene, finishing runner up to a surging Joaquin Niemman. Young has stated in the past how much he loves playing classical golf courses as a credit to his upbringing at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. A wave of showers during tournament week has softened up Riviera quite a bit, which will cater even further to the players in the field with the longest carry distance, like Cameron Young.
Over the last year, Young has flipped his greatest weakness – putting – into his greatest strength. He ranks top-5 in SG: Putting over the last 36 rounds. Perhaps even more importantly, he ranks top-5 in SG: Putting from 5-10 feet as well. Riviera CC, with its bumpy Poa greens, has proven to be one of the most difficult courses on TOUR to hole testers from this range. That’s an advantage I expect Young to capitalize on this time around at the 2026 Genesis Invitational.
Matt Fitzpatrick
My Bet: +4500
The 2022 U.S. Open Champion has always been known to be a grinder in difficult conditions. Lately, however his form has transcended course fit. He comes to Riviera hot off back-to-back top-15 finishes at the WM Phoenix Open and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Before that, he closed the year by winning the DP World Tour Championship.
Fitzpatrick is a consummate course strategist who relishes setups that require a calculated game plan. He showed he knows the formula to contend here, placing T5 in 2021, and will enter this week in far better form than ever before. Ranking top-10 in the key stat categories of SG: ARG, Par-5 Scoring, SG: P (5-10 ft), and SG: T2G, Fitzpatrick is one of my favorite values on the board this week.
Jake Knapp
My Bet: +4500
The softer expected conditions at Riviera this week have pushed me in favor of the elite total drivers with top-tier carry distance, as these fairways should be easier to hold than we’re used to seeing, and the greens will be far more receptive when hitting wedges into them. Knapp looks to be on a mission to start 2026, as he’s been a factor in every event he’s teed it up in; he’s finished T11-or-better in each of his first four starts.
A California native, Knapp has excelled at putting on Poa greens as well. He ranks top-10 in terms of SG: P (Poa) and SG: P overall for the new 2026 season. Ranking as the No. 1 player in this field in terms of Par-5 Scoring, Knapp looks poised to continue riding the hot hand into his Genesis Invitational debut.
Adam Scott
My Bet: +5500
A two-time winner of this event, Scott is living proof of just how sticky course history can be at Riviera CC. This classical layout rewards a strategic and disciplined approach, something Scott has leaned on to sustain such a long and successful career. His ball-striking remains in vintage form, ranking No. 4 in SG: Ball Striking in this loaded field.
While he has gotten off to a slow start results-wise in 2026, that is entirely the fault of some rusty short game. It’s been a different story around these unique Poa greens historically for Scott however, as he’s gained strokes with his short game in five of his last six starts at Riviera CC.
Tony Finau
My Bet: +13500
The last man in the field was the last man on my card this week, in what is purely a “bet the number” course history play. Finau ranks top-3 in terms of Total Strokes Gained at Riviera CC in this field, finishing top-20 in five of his last seven appearances with a pair of runner-ups over that span.
Finau is one of the most volatile players on the PGA TOUR, but his ceiling is worth chasing at this discounted number. He’s finished top-20 in two of his last three starts, led the entire field in SG: Putting at Pebble Beach last week, and has shown promising approach performance over the last month.
Genesis Invitational Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)
Cameron Young
My Bet: +3400
Best Available Odds:
Cameron Young has a history of starting hot out of the gates, and I believe his distance will help generate more birdie-or-better opportunities than the average player in this field. This is a short FRL number for me to take, but it’s a testament to how much I love Young’s fit this week.
Tony Finau
My Bet: +6700
Best Available Odds:
A volatile birdie-maker who knows how to navigate this course as well as anyone and enters with a red-hot putter, few would be surprised to see Finau get out to a hot start on Thursday. Whether he can hold onto a lead for four rounds is another story we don’t have to worry about in this market.
Denny McCarthy
My Bet: +7500
Best Available Odds:
While still chasing his first career PGA TOUR win, McCarthy has surprisingly played some of his best golf in the most difficult scoring conditions, finishing top-7 at the Memorial and U.S. Open over the last three years. McCarthy shot a field-best -7 round on Saturday at the 2023 Genesis Invitational, so we know he’s capable of getting streaky on this course.
Aaron Rai
My Bet: +7500
Best Available Odds:
The obligatory Aaron Rai FRL play is back in 2026, and I’m not deterred by his slow, injury-riddled start to the season. Rai is an elite long-iron player, which will come especially in handy if conditions remain as soft as they are expected to.
Genesis Invitational Prop Bets (2.5 Units)
Full Tournament Matchup: Cameron Young (+100 at MGM) vs. Collin Morikawa
I’m not going to write off Collin Morikawa’s Pebble Beach win as a fluke, but everything about his short game remains concerning to me as we head into one of the most challenging venues of the year. Couple that with the ancillary distractions that come with following up a victorious week, and this has all the makings of a hangover spot for Morikawa.
As dubious as I am about Collin’s prospects to repeat, I’m also incredibly high on Cameron Young’s fit for this course. Soft conditions will give him a distinct distance advantage, and I’m far more trusting of Young to hole some testy par saves this week than I am in Morikawa.
Top-20 Finish: Adam Scott
My Bet: +160
Best Available Odds:
Scott has been a model of consistency when it comes to ball striking lately and Riviera historically. I’m a big fan of consistently high baselines when it comes to placement bets, so I’m drawn to Scott’s larger sample size of eight top-20 finishes over his last 11 Genesis Invitational appearances.
Top-20 Finish: Tony Finau
My Bet: +450
Best Available Odds:
Speaking of high historical baselines, Finau has five top-20s over his last seven appearances at Riviera CC. Combine that with two top-20s over his last three starts, and these odds look very appealing in a field of only 72 players.
One And Done
My Pick: Cameron Young
I’m all in on Cameron Young this week. There is not an obvious event down the line this season I feel compelled to save him for, and he is special enough of a talent to justify using in a Signature Event. He has the course history to back up his fit, having finished T2 here in 2021, and I believe we are seeing the best version of Cameron Young right now.
If not Young, I would also consider playing Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, or Matt Fitzpatrick in OAD.
