Top LIV Golf Players To Consider Betting At The 2026 Masters

We are just one week away from the first major of the 2026 golf season, The Masters. If you’re not like me and don’t follow golf religiously day by day, you probably have some questions before making your Masters bets. Lineups has you covered this week, as we’ll be analyzing everything you need to know about Masters Odds, with new analysis coming every single day leading up to the start of the tournament on Thursday, 4/9.

That brings us to the first question we’ve endeavored to answer: What’s going on with the LIV players? So without further ado, let’s dive into everything you need to know about the LIV players competing in the 2026 Masters.

LIV Players In The Field

As of this writing, one week out from tournament play, there are 10 LIV players securely in the 2026 Masters field. That makes up roughly 10% of this field of 92, so with 1 in every 10 players playing for LIV, it’s important to understand who the bona fide contenders are.

The following LIV players are  the 2026 Masters field

  • Bryson DeChambeau
  • Sergio Garcia
  • Tyrrell Hatton
  • Dustin Johnson
  • Tom McKibbon
  • Carlos Ortiz
  • Jon Rahm
  • Charl Schwartzel
  • Cameron Smith
  • Bubba Watson

Who’s Missing?

12 LIV players competed at the 2025 Masters. Patrick Reed and Brooks Koepka previously fell under that category, but have since left for the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR, respectively, prior to the start of the 2026 season. Both are back to tee it up again this year.

Joaquin Niemann is a notable omission from the field. The star Chilean has wilted on the Major stage thus far in his career, and having failed to win a LIV event this season, he’s fallen considerably short in terms of OWGR qualifications. Niemann’s hot play in 2025 earned him a special invite last year, but with just one top-10 over five LIV starts and four consecutive missed cuts in full-field international events, it’s unlikely his name will be called again this year.

Of the players who have not qualified for the Masters field, Anthony Kim may be the most conceivable to have his name called as a special invite. He mounted an inspirational comeback to pick up his first professional win in decades, outplaying Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau to win LIV Adelaide. Kim has three career Masters appearances, included a 3rd place finish in 2010.

Can a LIV Player Win The Masters?

Of course! In its short history, Brooks Koepka (2023 PGA Championship) and Bryson DeChambeau (2024 U.S. Open) are the only players to have won a major while actively playing on LIV. While a players has not yet won The Masters while playing for LIV, there have been plenty of close calls recently.

In 2025, Bryson DeChambeau played alongside Rory McIlroy in the final Sunday pairing  and went on to finish T5. Patrick Reed was the highest LIV finisher, holing out for eagle on 17 to propel himself to solo 3rd.

In 2024, Scottie Scheffler was a runaway winner, but Bryson DeChambeau, Cameron Smith, and Tyrrell Hatton each finished inside the top-10.

Jon Rahm was still on the PGA TOUR at the time of his 2023 win, but faced stiff competition from runner-up finishers Phil Mickelson and Brooks Koepka that year.

So although an active LIV player has not yet won The Masters, we shouldn’t be surprised if one plays themselves into contention this weekend.

Top LIV Contenders

As I look through the list of LIV contenders this year, there are two who I fully expect to be a factor in this tournament over the weekend, and a remaining eight who would leave me utterly shocked if they were in the mix come Sunday. We’ll focus on the two most viable LIV players to contend at the 2026 Masters.

Jon Rahm

Outright Odds:

Top-10 Odds:

Make no mistake, Jon Rahm continues to be the dominant superstar he was before leaving the PGA Tour after 2023. Rahm somwhat embarassingly was award LIV Player of the Year honors in 2025 despite not winning a single event. He was however, a factor in most, finishing top-10 in 15 out of 18 2025 starts.

Regression has started to hit in 2026 for Rahm. Through his first five LIV starts, he has posted finishes of 2nd, 2nd, 1st, 5th, and 2nd. That’s not a coincidence as far as I’m concerned, as LIV’s switch to 72 holes this season has helped the cream rise to the top over a longer sample size.

Rahm strokes gained metrics have been exceptional across all four main categories, and is a player I’m watching closely should his odds improve at all between now and Masters week.

Bryson DeChambeau

Outright Odds:

Top-10 Odds:

The best player on LIV thus far in 2026 has been none other than Bryson DeChambeau, who’s started to eclipse Rory McIlroy across certain sportsbooks as the biggest favorite outside of Scottie Scheffler to win The Masters.

DeChambeau, a two-time U.S. Open champion, is still chasing his first career green jacket. Of all the players who have not yet won The Masters, you’d have to feel best about DeChambeau’s chances to break through this year. He’ll come to Augusta having won each of his last two starts at LIV Singapore and LIV South Africa.

At The Masters, DeChambeau seems to have finally cracked the code. After failing to post a top-20 finish in each of his first seven appearances, he’s now broken through with finishes of T5 and T6 over his last two trips. Distance offers a distinct advantage at Augusta National, and DeChambeau will be starting on second base here as arguably the best driver in the field at the moment.

Best of luck with your Masters bets and check in each day this week for more Masters analysis!
