NFC Championship Anytime Touchdown Picks: Seahawks vs. Rams (Sunday, January 25)
The Rams beat the Seahawks, 21-19, in Week 11, before the Seahawks beat the Rams by a 38-37 score in Week 16. These were the two highly rated teams all season in the NFL. The Seahawks have arguably the best defense in the league, and the Rams have arguably the best offense in the league. Either team will be favored to win the Super Bowl if they make it that far. It should be an excellent game and one with several scores. That means plenty of chances for us to win some anytime touchdown scorer bets.
The total sits at 46.5, and the line for total touchdowns is 5.5. These numbers are slightly above average for what we normally see in these markets. On one side, it’s the league’s best offense against the league’s best defense. On the other hand, the Seattle Seahawks’ offense is just above league average, while the Los Angeles Rams’ defense has been just below league average over the last 8 weeks. Those are both recipes for points, and we’ve seen more than a few touchdowns in their games this season. I expect to see points, so let’s make some money betting on who is going to score those touchdowns. Here is the full odds board followed by my best bets.

Rams vs. Seahawks Touchdown Scorer Picks: AJ Barner
Teams have been able to throw on the Los Angeles Rams’ defense. They’ve given up multiple receiving touchdowns in every game the last 8 weeks. Whether it be to wide receivers, tight ends, or even running backs, teams have scored against the Rams through the air. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the clear #1 pass catcher for the Seattle Seahawks, but the clear #2 is their tight end, AJ Barner.
He’s third in total targets, second in red zone targets, and second in end zone targets this season. He should get plenty of looks in the passing game, and Barner also has the added benefit of being Seattle’s tush push player. So, whether it be on a pass catch or with a carry at the goal line, there’s a good chance he scores. At these odds, we have to bet on AJ Barner anytime touchdown scorer.
Seahawks vs. Rams Anytime Touchdown Predictions: Colby Parkinson
The Seattle Seahawks’ defense is probably the best in the NFL, but no team can be great at everything. The Seahawks are bottom 10 when it comes to defending opposing tight ends. The Los Angeles Rams use as many as four tight ends, but one stands above the rest. Colby Parkinson has 20 more targets than the next tight end, more than twice as many red zone targets as the next tight end, and the most end zone targets of any tight end for the Rams. Parkinson should get more than a few chances to score, and at this price, he’s well worth a wager.
Good luck with your NFL touchdown picks and the rest of your bets for the NFL Playoffs!
