It took just two years for Kennesaw State to establish themselves as a viable contender in the Conference USA, thwarting Jacksonville State for the conference title in 2025. Heading into 2026, the Owls will look to build on their momentum and host the title game at their home stadium on December 4th, potentially facing off against Liberty who is poised to bounce back after a disappointing year.
2026 Conference USA Winner Odds
After winning the Conference USA conference championship last year, oddsmakers have tempered their expectations of Kennesaw State making another run at the title, listing them at around +1000 to win it all this season. Their overhaul in the offseason raises plenty of red flags, potentially leading to a slow start while integrating new players at key positions.
Turning our sights towards the top of the oddsboard, Liberty makes their return after a disappointing 2025 campaign, bringing with them a majority of their offense to help keep them a float while their defense irons out their kinks. Factor in a favorable schedule, and Liberty is in a great position to bounce back, making them worth a wager to win the Conference USA.
While Liberty gets the benefit of continuity, Western Kentucky is dealing with far more turnover, bringing back less than 40% of their roster on both sides of the ball. Until they can prove their new faces can keep them competitive, pass on the Hilltoppers to win the conference title at their short odds.
Fresh off a loss in the conference championship, Jacksonville State also resides near the top of the oddsboard to win it all this season, a competitive unit who ranked near the middle of the pack in Success Rate on both sides of the ball. With continuity also on their side, Jacksonville State is worth an addition to your portfolio.
Delaware, meanwhile, has a great opportunity to carry over their success into this season, leading the conference in returning production while taking advantage of a very friendly schedule. Before placing a wager on them, wait and see if their defense shows any sign of improvement, a unit who ranked 100th or worse in Explosiveness and in PPA.

2026 Conference USA Win Total Odds
Since joining the Conference USA, Jacksonville State has been consistent, winning at least nine games in their first three years in the conference. By bringing back a majority of a roster who graded out competitively in Success Rate, PPA, and in Havoc, expect the Gamecocks to continue to win at a high rate and clear the over on their win total.
Keeping our focus on the top contenders, Liberty is also in a position to thrive while listed as the betting favorite in 11 of their 12 games. If their defense can help reduce the amount of variance in their contests by rounding back into competitive form, then their offense will be able to consistently pull away on the scoreboard, increasing their chances of winning.
Sam Houston on the other hand is in for a long year per oddsmakers, listing their win total at 3.5 juiced to the under. After making minimal improvements to a roster who ranked 125th in Success Rate, expect the Bearcats to fall quickly behind on the scoreboard on a weekly basis, making it difficult for them to compete.

2026 Conference USA Heisman Trophy Contenders, Odds
While most G6 conferences possess at least one intriguing longshot to win the Heisman, the Conference USA is void of any viable contenders, making them a pass for the award. Barring an undefeated season, any loss is detrimental to that player’s claim for the award with the gap in talent within the conference as low as possible, wiping away the shine on any hot start to the year.
Barring an undefeated season, it’s tough to fathom anyone in the conference being able to string together their performances, making it easy for the media to turn their attention elsewhere. Pass on this market for now and wait to see if anyone truly sticks out as a worthy addition to the portfolio.

2026 Conference USA College Football Playoff Odds
While I normally like to cast a wide net on G6 contenders, I am also passing on this market as any contender in the Conference USA would need to go undefeated just to have a puncher’s chance of making the playoffs. The harsh reality is that the quality of opponent is far too low for anyone to make a strong enough case for the automatic qualifying spot, making it worth spending your bankroll elsewhere.
