Thursday night brings us a one-game slate in the WNBA Playoffs, as the Fever and Aces face off in Las Vegas in the elimination game of their best-of-3 series.

We’ve seen each team thrive on its home floor with the benefit of some standout individual performances, and with both clubs’ season on the line Thursday, there should be plenty more on display.

Without further ado, let’s dive into a pair of player props to consider for tonight’s action.

Best WNBA Thursday Player Props

  • Caitlin Clark Over 32.5 Points + Assists
  • Jackie Young Over 27.5 Points + Assists

Caitlin Clark (Fever at Aces) Over Points + Assists

Clark played well in the Fever’s Game 1 loss, but her Game 2 performance was on another level and fittingly the talk of Indiana’s 99-89 win. The star guard contributed an otherworldly 49 points + rebounds + assists over 33 minutes while shooting 50.0% from the floor and going a perfect 4-for-4 from the line.

Clark had also turned in a 15-point, 10-assist double-double in Game 1 but wasn’t as efficient offensive (6-for-17 from the floor), but we’re backing the idea of a performance that falls at least somewhere in the middle of those two standout efforts Thursday. The Aces were actually a more giving defense on their home floor this season as well, allowing 45.5% shooting overall and 34.8% from three-point range.

This number isn’t one Clark’s made a habit of exceeding against Las Vegas this season – Tuesday’s Game 2 was the first time she did in four total meetings with the Aces since the start of the campaign – but the urgency and her talent make for a potent combination Thursday.

Jackie Young (Aces vs. Fever) Over Points + Assists

Young has been outstanding thus far in the series, averaging 33.5 points + assists across 35 minutes per contest while shooting an elite 43.8% from three-point range. Young’s usage has been through the roof as well, as she’s put up 24 field-goal + free-throw attempts per contest in that span. The productive stretch extends what’s been a solid body of work against Indiana overall since the start of the regular season – Young is averaging 27.0 points + assists across 34 minutes per contest in five total games versus the Fever.

Young has gone 3-0 to the 27.5 prop the last three times she’s faced Clark and co., and Aces’ dynamic guard is back on her home floor Thursday, where she’s shot 50.7%, including 39.7% from behind the arc, since the start of the campaign. The Fever have been only middle of the pack defending guards as well, and Indiana allowed the third-most free-throw attempts per game to the position in the regular season (11.2).

Indy has also yielded the seventh-most assists per game on the road (21.8) since the start of the season, as well as 37.9% three-point shooting over the last three games overall.
