Best WNBA Wednesday Player Props
- Shakira Austin Over 10.5 Rebounds
- Rhyne Howard Over 18.5 Points
- Paige Bueckers Over 18.5 Points
Shakira Austin (Mystics vs. Dream) Over Rebounds
The Mystics took a disappointing 15-point loss in Game 1 in Atlanta, and Austin’s inconsistent shooting performance (4-for-11) played a part in Washington’s struggles. However, the talented center was excellent on the boards, pulling down 16 rebounds across 34 minutes. Austin also had an 11-rebound performance against the Dream on Aug. 7, and she came within striking distance of this prop with nine rebounds in one of the other two regular-season clashes with Atlanta.
The Dream finished the regular season allowing the fifth-most rebounds per contest to centers (9.6), and Atlanta has conceded a WNBA-high 49.7 rebounds per game overall over the last three contests dating back to the penultimate game of the regular season. Austin averaged 10.1 boards per game at home during the campaign as well, and she’s posted at least 11 rebounds on 16 occasions since the start of the regular season.
Original Line Publish: 10.5 (-105 on Hard Rock Sportsbook)
Rhyne Howard (Dream at Mystics) Over Points
Howard added to her already strong body of work against the Mystics this season in Game 1, as she poured in a stellar 26 points with the help of a 10-for-10 showing from the free-throw line. Howard actually only went 7-for-18 from the floor, which was more or less par for the course for her versus the Mystics since she also shot 40.8% against them in three regular-season matchups.
Nevertheless, Howard still averaged 20.7 points per game in those three contests vs. Washington, with her 44.8% success rate from deep playing a big role. With at least 19 points in each of her four encounters with the Mystics since the start of the season, Howard is 4-0 to the Over on this prop in that split, and although Washington allowed just 43.1% shooting to forwards in the regular season, Howard has recorded at least 19 points in 22 of 44 games since the start of the season.

Paige Bueckers (Wings vs. Valkyries) Over Points
Bueckers was a bright spot in the Wings’ ugly 24-point loss on the road in Game 1, as she delivered 21 points, six rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes. The star guard shot a blistering 90% from the floor as well, and she would have been in store for even more usage had the score not gotten out of hand. Bueckers now returns to her home floor with Dallas’ season on the line, so she should be even more aggressive right from the jump.
That makes this very reasonable points prop one to target Wednesday. Bueckers averaged 19.5 points on 50.3% shooting, including 44.3% from behind the arc, at home this season, and did so on 17.9 field-goal + free-throw attempts per contest. She’s now recorded at least 19 points in 29 of 43 games since the start of the campaign, an excellent hit rate that further supports backing the Over in a game where Bueckers should be heavily leaned on. The fact Bueckers now has back-to-back 21-point efforts against Golden State only strengthens her case further.
