Jessica Shepard (Wings vs. Mercury) Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Shepard returned from the FIBA break without missing a beat, as she put together one of her signature performances at the expense of the Sparks. The versatile center turned in a 13-point, 11-rebound, 12-assist triple-double that also included a steal and a 6-for-11 tally from the field. That pushed Shepard to an average of 32.8 points + rebounds + assists across her last five games, a stretch where she’s shot a blistering 61%.
The Mercury have allowed the fourth-most rebounds (9.7) and assists (3.1) per game to centers, along with 48.5% shooting to the positon overall. Shepard hung 34 points + rebounds + assists over 32 minutes in her one prior meeting with the Mercury as well, a game in which she shot an near-perfect 7-for-8. Shepard is also averaging 31.0 points + rebounds + assists per home game this season, shooting 56.5% in that sample.

Rhyne Howard (Dream vs. Sky) Over Points + Rebounds + Assists
Howard stuffed the stat sheet in her return to action Thursday in a blowout win over the Sun, posting 24 points + rebounds + assists across 28 minutes despite shooting just 3-for-14 from the floor, including an abysmal 1-for-9 from behind the arc. Despite the struggles from distance, Howard is still shooting a rock-solid 36.0% from three-point range for the season, and she gets another appealing on-paper matchup against the reeling Sky.
Chicago has conceded the fourth-most points (29.1) and is tied for the third-most rebounds (14.5) per game allowed to forwards, while also conceding the sixth-most assists per contest to the position (5.1). Then, the Sky has also facilitated the fourth-most made field goals per contest to forwards (10.5) and a WNBA-high 46.5 total rebounds per road game, making this a pretty airtight case.
