When it comes to betting on football, grabbing a key number is vital, potentially being the difference of winning and losing. With TCU gaining steam, we kick off our Week ‘Zero’ parlay series buying them down to -6.5, getting us under the key number of -7. Speaking of underwhelming offensive lines, Stanford’s front five is dealing with an abundance of injuries, making it easier for Hawaii to get into their backfield and create Havoc. When on offense, the Rainbow Warriors will be able to move the ball down the field at a high rate, exposing a defense who ranked well below league average in Def Success Rate and in Pass Play Explosiveness.

Better yet for Hawaii’s chances of winning outright, Stanford brings back a majority of their offense who severely struggled last season, a unit who resided near the bottom of the board in EPA per play. Especially with the Cardinals incapable of pulling Hawaii’s linebackers into the box per their poor marks in Rush Success Rate, allowing them to stretch out their coverage to help smother their passing lanes.
After thriving on defense last season, Virginia enters the year with question marks lingering over multiple levels of the field, indicating regression is looming large. Any form of regression will be on full display against NC State, battling it out against an offense who generates big gains at a high rate, ranking in the top-10 in Explosiveness. CJ Bailey’s dual threat abilities will also apply serious pressure to the second level of the Cavaliers defense, creating more space on the outside for his wideouts to exploit.

In a favorable matchup against San Jose State, USC’s high powered offense will be able to pick their number and hang it up on the board. The Spartans lack the talent that is needed to stall out their drives, fielding a defense who ranked outside the top-80 in Def. Hard Stops.
