The Colts come into this second game of the season already feeling a sense of urgency after an ugly 41-23 loss to the Ravens in Week 1, while the Chiefs aim to build on the momentum of an impressive season-opening victory against the Broncos on Monday night highlighted by Patrick Mahomes’ successful return from last December’s knee injury.

Colts-Chiefs Best NFL Week 2 Player Props
- Kenneth Walker Over 81.5 Rushing Yards

Kenneth Walker Over Rushing Yards
Walker’s Chiefs debut on Monday night against the Broncos could hardly have gone any more spectacularly. The reigning Super Bowl MVP put on a performance worthy of that distinction, racking up 173 yards and a touchdown on the ground with a big hand from a 60-yard run. Walker still averaged 5.1 yards per carry on his other 22 carries as well, so he was consistently finding running room behind Kansas City’s talented offensive line.
He now gets a crack at a Colts defense that was trampled by the Ravens’ Derrick Henry in Week 1. Henry racked up 144 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries, and Walker certainly has the ability to put together his own standout effort. Moreover, his prop hasn’t risen inordinately following Monday night’s breakout, and Walker recorded at least 81 rushing yards on seven occasions last season in Seattle. He looks primed for a much bigger role in Kansas City, and the Chiefs should have a good chance of controlling the game and ensure the running game remains viable.

Xavier Worthy Over Receiving Yards
In contrast to Walker’s night, Worthy had a very quiet season-opening performance. The speedy wideout had just three receptions for 18 yards, but Worthy did see six targets and ran 31 routes on his 53 snaps. The third-year pro naturally has the talent to produce much bigger numbers, especially after Mahomes got another week of practice in and now has one game under his belt.
In addition to the damage that Henry inflicted on the Colts’ defense in Week 1, Zay Flowers was on his way to an unforgettable performance in his own right when he went down with his hamstring injury in the second quarter after already having amassed a career-best 150 yards and a touchdown on five catches. The Colts surrendered 304.0 passing yards overall and 19.1 yards per reception in Week 1, putting Worthy’s very modest yardage total on the radar.

Alec Pierce Over Receiving Yards
Pierce was one of the bright spots of a disappointing Week 1 for the Colts, posting a 4-61-0 line on six targets and running 22 routes on his 32 snaps. The veteran speedster is coming off a career-best 2025 season that earned him a $116 million payday this offseason, and despite managing a heel injury this past week, Pierce practiced in full Friday and carries no injury designation.
The fifth-year pro is operating as Indy’s No. 1 receiver following Michael Pittman’s departure this offseason, and Pierce should once again be set for a major role in a game where the Colts will have to remain aggressive. Kansas City did shut down Bo Nix and the Broncos in Week 1, but Shane Steichen that prioritizes scheming the ball to his most explosive playmakers. Pierce also went 11-5 to the Over on the 44.5 last season and cleared it comfortably in Week 1, furthering his case.
