Game 4 between the Detroit Pistons (1-2) and Orlando Magic (2-1) is set for 8 p.m. Eastern on NBC. Kevin Huerter exited Game 3 early due to hip soreness, and the sharpshooter holds a questionable tag for this upcoming contest.

Pistons vs. Magic Betting Analysis

Cade Cunningham tallied 27 points and nine assists in Game 3 but shot 34.7% from the field and committed nine turnovers. He’s taking some low quality shots and making mistakes because his offensive burden is enormous. The unit nosedives when Cunningham is not running actions, so he has to take risks.

Jalen Duren needs to step up immediately. Averaging nine points on eight shots per game is not going to cut it. Now, it’s the first time in his career that opponents have aggressively schemed against him in the playoffs, but Duren has to break through for Detroit to win this series.

On the flip side, Desmond Bane shed his slump to the tune of 25 points on 7-of-9 shooting from triples. Bane’s production is critical because he opens up the court for Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner and punishes Detroit for packing the paint. The offseason acquisition pulled up slightly and grabbed at his leg late in the game, but he shook off concerns during his post-game interview – “I was tired. I was cramping…but I’m fine…I could have went back into the game, but we had it secured.” Magic fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Jamal Cain also had a nice game off the bench. He scored seven points, and Orlando won his 14 minutes by 12 points. If the Magic can receive more from their bench as a whole, then they should probably be favored to win the series.

The best bet is taking Tobias Harris to score at least 16 points. He’s averaging 16 field goal attempts per game and is Detroit’s second option with Duren struggling. Overall, Harris has scored 16, 17, and 23 points in this series.
