Best Bet: O181.5 (-108) at DraftKings

Best Bet: LVA -4.5 (-105)

Score Prediction: Aces 94, Fever 89

The Pick: Aces 94, Fever 89

We’ll take the Over based on head-to-head trends along with Las Vegas postseason data, while the ATS for Vegas is also supported but with lower conviction.

Game Betting Analysis

We’ll start with the total, as that has lots of traction to it with the Aces hitting the Over in eight straight playoff games. The Over has also hit in three of four meetings along with five of the last seven head-to-heads. Looking at the ATS market, Vegas is great as a bounce back club with five straight covers as the favorite when coming off a road loss. Vegas has also won eight straight games as the favorite, while seeing the favorite win nine straight games overall. Of the two, there’s a bit more conviction in the total but Vegas covering is also supported by the data.

Deciding Factor: Vegas’s Efficiency vs. Indiana’s Firepower

This comes down to whether Wilson’s brand of surgical dominance can outlast Clark and Mitchell’s raw scoring punch. Wilson is shooting 52.7% from the floor this season while averaging 26.2 points and 9.4 rebounds, and her league-leading 10.66 Win Probability Added is exactly the kind of winning-time influence that swings a possession-by-possession fight. If she’s efficient early and forces Indiana to send extra bodies at her, Las Vegas dictates the terms of the whole game.

Indiana’s path is volume, not surgical efficiency. Clark is averaging 22.7 points and 8.4 assists but shooting a modest 45.1% from the field and 36.8% from three, so the Fever need her creating advantages without needing every one of her own shots to fall. That’s where Mitchell has to show up — she’s hitting 44.8% from three and 50.9% overall at 24.7 points a night, and if she gets to that number on her own without Clark having to force the issue, Indiana has the two-woman scoring burst to answer Wilson bucket for bucket. Whichever team’s efficiency numbers hold up under pressure walks away with this one.
