With Hardy gone, the offense falls completely on him as a dual-threat player. The Jayhawks will need to keep pressure on Simmons, while being able to successfully spy him. Once Hardy returns, things will alleviate for Simmons – but he must continue to dominate and now faces a well-coached team on the road.
