Home Run Prop Predictions & Odds: MLB HR Best Bets for Monday, September 7

Bryce Harper Home Run Odds

Bryce Harper came into Sunday’s action with a .275/.392/.505 with 27 home runs in 607 plate appearances. He’s been excellent in the second half, putting up a 166 wRC+.

I like the upcoming matchup against Grant Holmes, who has a 4.73 xERA and a 1.3 HR/9 on the season. Harper has had success against Holmes throughout his career, homering once in seven plate appearances.

Juan Soto Home Run Odds

Juan Soto has had an injury-plagued season, but it’s still been a productive year, including a .274/.395/.528 slash with 23 home runs in 386 plate appearances.

This includes an excellent 14.1% barrel rate, so he’s been hitting the ball hard.

I like the spot against Eury Perez, who has been struggling lately. He’s allowed a combined 11 earned runs in his last two outings, including four home runs.

Soto has crushed Perez throughout his career, homering twice in six plate appearances. This includes a 1.235 expected slugging percentage. I

Jose Ramirez Home Run Odds

Jose Ramirez is currently slashing .237/.330/.378 with 11 home runs in 471 plate appearances.

His barrel rate is an abysmal 4.3%, so it’s been a disappointing season for the veteran. However, I’m a big believer in track record, and I like the spot against Trevor Rogers.

Ramirez has had success against Rogers, homering twice in eight plate appearances, including a 1.146 expected slugging percentage.
