Frank is under the weather today, so we’ll be filling in for him! Last time we played substitute teacher we hit on a Trea Turner home run, so we’ll try to replicate some similar success with a small Thursday slate.

Hunter Goodman Home Run Odds
It’s hard to leave Hunter Goodman off the home run pick list for a narrow set of games today, hitting a home run in a remarkable four of five games inside Nationals Park – a venue allowing 11.2 runs per game this season. In just 12 career games against Washington, Goodman has hit six home runs with 11 RBIs. 20 of his home runs this season have also come in 59 games away from Coors Field.
Luis Garcia Home Run Odds
What has been a great trade for the Yankees thus far, Luis Garcia has added much needed pop to a lineup dealing with seasonal injuries. He takes on Houston, a team in which he has homered in three straight games against. The pitcher he faces is Hayden Wesneski who is coming off a solid performance against the A’s. However, he has allowed 13 earned runs in the four games prior with Seattle posting five against him.
Pete Alonso Home Run Odds
Pete Alonso quietly has 32 home runs this season and is touching 100 RBIs, facing St. Louis on the road tonight and looking for his fourth straight road games with a home run. He has hit 14 of his home runs on the road this season and has solid numbers vs St. Louis over his career – hitting .292 with 13 home runs in just 39 games. We don’t know who is pitching yet for St. Louis, but with a shortened slate we’ll test Alonso’s success on both the road and against the Cards.
