MLS Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Saturday, July 25, 2026
MLS returns on Saturday, July 25, with all 30 teams in action. The evening opens at 6:30 p.m. ET with Charlotte FC taking on New York Red Bulls at Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey, and wraps up with three games kicking off at 10:30 p.m. ET on the West Coast.
Saturday’s slate follows Wednesday’s packed 15-game schedule, which also saw every team in the league competing. The marquee matchup of the evening features Eastern Conference leaders Nashville SC taking on Orlando City, who appear to have turned a corner after making waves in the transfer market. Orlando currently sits outside the playoffs in 10th, but is coming off their biggest win of the season, a 4-0 upset of the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday.
At the same time, Robert Lewandowski and the Chicago Fire host New York City FC in a 3 vs. 6 seed matchup. Lewandowski struggled to make an impact on his MLS debut against Inter Miami on Wednesday, but will have another opportunity against a NYCFC side currently dealing with significant defensive injuries.

Saturday’s Best MLS Player Props

Harry Toffolo (Charlotte FC) – Over 2.5 Tackles (+195)
Toffolo has been one of MLS’s top left backs this season for Charlotte FC. The Englishman leads his squad with 1.9 tackles per game, ranking among the top ten at his position in the league. The veteran defender is winning 4.5 duels per game at a 62% success rate and was instrumental in Charlotte’s emphatic 6-1 victory over New York Red Bulls earlier in the season.
According to Sofascore, Toffolo registered six tackle attempts in that March fixture — the third time this season he has recorded three or more tackles in a game. Playing on the road, Charlotte are likely to spend extended spells without the ball, which should give Toffolo plenty of opportunities to win possession back against New York’s high-tempo style of play.
Antoine Griezmann (Orlando City) – Over 0.5 Goals + Assists (+105)
Griezmann gave Orlando City fans plenty to be excited about in his debut on Wednesday, scoring on his first MLS appearance. He will look to carry that momentum into Saturday’s tough test against the East’s top side. Nashville have conceded a league-low 11 goals in 16 games, with just two of those coming away from home.
Backing Griezmann to score or assist covers both bases, as the former Atlético Madrid star is more than capable of either. The 35-year-old clearly still has plenty left in the tank, as he demonstrated throughout Atlético’s deep Champions League run last season, finishing with 22 goal contributions in 56 appearances for the Spanish club. He had two shots and five key passes on debut, showing his willingness to get others involved while still looking for his own chances when they arise.
Ryan Gauld (Vancouver Whitecaps) – Over 2.5 Shots (+100)
Gauld marked his season debut with two goals in Vancouver’s 4-3 loss to FC Cincinnati on Wednesday. The Whitecaps captain will need to take on even more responsibility this weekend with USMNT star Sebastián Berhalter set to miss the next match as he finalizes his transfer to Middlesbrough in England. Berhalter had 10 goal contributions in 14 appearances this season, averaging 2.4 shots per game.
Gauld is well placed to absorb some of that attacking burden from his central midfield role. The Scotland international had appeared only in the Canadian Championship for Vancouver this year, going shotless across his two outings. Head coach Cameron Knowles appeared to call for a more aggressive approach from his captain in the MLS opener, and we should expect a similar display against a Minnesota United side that has been vulnerable defensively this season.
Heung-min Son (Los Angeles FC) – Over 1.5 Goals + Assists (+130)
Son and LAFC are among Saturday’s biggest favorites, and the South Korean is a primary reason why. The Premier League legend has brought his elite attacking quality to MLS, now with 34 goal contributions in 36 appearances after his latest strike on Wednesday. The former Tottenham Hotspur winger leads MLS with eight assists this season and will face Sporting Kansas City for the first time in his career on Saturday night.
Kansas City currently sit 28th in the table, having conceded 40 goals in 16 games — 25 of which came on the road. They now face one of the Western Conference’s most potent attacks at BMO Stadium. Son has scored in each of his last two games and is a strong candidate to contribute multiple times against one of the league’s worst defenses on Saturday night.
