MLS Best Player Prop Picks, Odds, Predictions for Wednesday, July 22, 2026

With the 2026 World Cup officially concluded, all eyes in the football world turn to the American top flight as all European leagues remain out of season. MLS returns after a five-day break with all 30 teams in action on Wednesday evening. Five games kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the final four matches of the night starting at 10:30 p.m. ET. Fans from around the world will be tuning in, with several of Europe’s biggest names having recently made the move to MLS. Polish legend Robert Lewandowski and Frenchman Antoine Griezmann are both expected to make their MLS debuts on Wednesday evening.

The night’s most anticipated matchup features the Eastern Conference’s second- and third-placed clubs, with Lewandowski’s Chicago FC hosting Inter Miami. Inter Miami will be without two of the league’s biggest stars in Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul, both of whom featured in the World Cup Final just four days ago. Later that evening, two of the Western Conference’s top sides meet as Real Salt Lake take on Heung-min Son’s LAFC at BMO Stadium.

Here are the top props for Wednesday’s packed 15-game MLS slate. Don’t forget to check out our daily soccer betting trends page for match insights, odds and data.

Wednesday’s Best MLS Player Props

  • Robert Lewandowski (CHI) – Over 0.5 Goals
  • Miguel Almirón (ATL) – Over 3.5 Shots (+190)
  • Nouhou Tolo (SEA) – Over 1.5 Fouls Won

Robert Lewandowski (CHI) – Over 0.5 Goals

One of European football’s greatest-ever goalscorers begins the next chapter of his career at Chicago FC. The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona legend joins one of MLS’s top clubs with the aim of helping them make a late push for the MLS Cup. The 37-year-old arrives in America’s top flight in strong form and will look to make an immediate impression on debut.

Lewandowski scored 61 goals across 98 appearances in his last two seasons at Barcelona. Despite his age, the Polish international remains one of the world’s most clinical finishers and now brings that quality to Chicago. He faces an Inter Miami side that has conceded more than any other team near the top of the table, allowing 1.9 goals per game. Look for Lewandowski to open his account with a goal on his MLS debut.

Miguel Almirón (ATL) – Over 3.5 Shots (+190)

Almirón returns to Atlanta United for his second match back after an impressive showing for Paraguay at the 2026 World Cup. The former Newcastle United winger has been solid across his nine appearances for his club this season but is still searching for his first goal of the campaign. The dangerous right winger has provided four assists and carries an xG of 2.03 despite remaining scoreless.

Almirón has been aggressive despite the lack of goals for Atlanta early in the season, averaging 2.4 shots per game and registering three attempts in his first match back from the World Cup. With his side sitting 28th in the table, expect Almirón and the rest of Atlanta’s attackers to be far more assertive as they push for a late playoff run.

Nouhou Tolo (SEA) – Over 1.5 Fouls Won

Tolo has been one of the league’s best left backs for several seasons and has been an important part of Seattle’s strong start to the year. Known for his ability to get forward and attack from deep, Tolo regularly draws fouls with his pace and physicality. The 29-year-old is being fouled 1.4 times per game and should see plenty of that from an aggressive Austin FC side.

Austin FC averages nearly 12 fouls per game, pressing high to win the ball in dangerous areas. The Texas club has struggled on both sides of the ball and will look to use their high press and counterattacking game to stay competitive. The Cameroonian international should have plenty of opportunities to earn fouls both in and out of possession and help lead Seattle to a comfortable victory.
