The 2026 NFL season is finally set to kick off, with a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. This projects as a relatively low-scoring game, as highlighted by the 44.5-point total, which could make touchdowns hard to come by.
Nevertheless, we’re going to zero in on two potential touchdown scorers for this matchup. We’re focusing on anytime touchdown props as we search for the best values on the board. So, without further ado, let’s dive into my best touchdown predictions for Patriots vs. Seahawks in Week 1.

Touchdown Prop Predictions & Odds: NFL TD Best Bets for Wednesday, September 9
A.J. Brown Touchdown Odds
A.J. Brown is coming off a disappointing season, where he caught 78-of-121 targets for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. Brown averaged 66.9 receiving yards per game, which was his lowest since his rookie season back in 2019.
However, Brown was held back by a lethargic Eagles offense. Offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo had some unimaginative playcalling, resulting in a poor showing. With that in mind, Brown appears to be highly motivated to show that he can still be among the best wideouts in football.
It’s a change of scenery for the veteran, as he’s reunited with head coach Mike Vrabel in New England, whom he played for while in Tennessee. Now playing with a much more accurate passer in Drake Maye, Brown could have an opportunity to find the end zone with consistency once again.
Brown has two seasons with 11 touchdowns under his belt, so he has proven to be an imposing presence in the red zone. In his first game as a Patriot on primetime, we could see them make an effort to force-feed their new alpha No. 1 wideout.
The Seahawks have an imposing defense, so it could be tough for Rhamondre Stevenson to punch it in inside the 20-yard-line. We’ll take a shot on the better value on Brown to score a touchdown at +155 odds. Risk 0.1 units.
A.J. Barner Touchdown Odds
A.J. Barner is one of the most underrated tight ends in the NFL. He’s entering his age-24 season, coming off a productive year where he hauled in 52-of-68 targets for 519 yards and six touchdowns.
The six touchdowns are impressive, considering he was the clear-cut No. 3 or even No. 4 target for the Seahawks, in an offense where Jaxon Smith-Njigba dominated target share.
New offensive coordinator Brian Fleury comes over from the 49ers. Reports indicate that he’s going to deploy Barner and Elijah Arroyo in a lot of two-tight-end sets. As such, Barner will likely be consistently on the field, putting him in a good position to find the end zone.
Like the Seahawks, the Patriots have a tough defense, especially in run defense. Milton Williams is an imposing presence up front. With that in mind, rather than going with a running back, we’ll take a shot on Barner here. At +265 odds, the price is right. Risk 0.1 units.
