The Divisional Round proved to be an impressive encore to a stellar Wild Card Weekend, and all eyes now turn to next weekend’s conference championship games that will decide the participants for Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8. All times below are ET.

Opening Conference Championships NFL Odds: Spreads, Moneylines, Totals

New England Patriots (-5.5) at Denver Broncos: Sunday, Jan. 25, 3:00 p.m. ET

The Patriots took advantage of frigid January temperatures and a highly opportunistic defense to dispatch the Houston Texans by a 28-16 score on Sunday afternoon. New England sacked C.J. Stroud three times and picked him off on four occasions, while also forcing a fumble from Woody Marks. The combination of the dominating defensive performance and a solid three-touchdown effort from Drake Maye in a very difficult matchup was enough for a double-digit win and a return to the conference title game for a team that was 4-13 a year ago under Jerod Mayo. The Broncos had their own success Saturday evening when they were able to get past Josh Allen and his Bills by a 33-30 score in overtime. However, the victory came at great cost, as Bo Nix suffered a broken bone in his ankle on the third-to-last play from scrimmage and is sidelined until next season. That will tee up Patriots 2019 fourth-round pick Jarrett Stidham, who hasn’t recorded anything more than a preseason pass attempt since the 2023 season, to start against his old squad with a Super Bowl berth at stake. Denver will give Stidham all the reps he can handle during the week, but the entire dynamic of the matchup has naturally changed significantly. The Patriots have been installed as early 5.5-point road favorites, a number that is clearly the byproduct of Nix’s absence. Meanwhile, the total is a microscopic 40.5.

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks (-2.5): Sunday, Jan. 25, 6:30 p.m. ET

The Rams survived a rollercoaster of an evening at Soldier Field on Sunday night, emerging with a 20-17 win in overtime after seeing Caleb Williams complete a miracle touchdown pass on fourth down to Cole Kmet to send the game into the extra period. Los Angeles played far from its most efficient game through the air in the arctic Chicago temperatures, but a key interception led to the victory. L.A. has now earned itself a third encounter with the division-rival Seahawks since the start of the regular season after coming within two points of pulling off a regular-season sweep. The Seahawks easily handled the short-handed 49ers on Saturday night to punch their NFC Championship Game ticket. Seattle’s 41-6 victory saw Sam Darnold, who’d come into the game listed as questionable due to an oblique injury, get through the game without any issues, but Zach Charbonnet did suffer a knee injury in the first half that forced him out the rest of the night. Kenneth Walker III more than made up for his backfield mate’s absence with a 100-yard, three-touchdown effort, but Charbonnet’s presence would naturally be valued in such a high-stakes clash. Seattle has been installed as a narrow 2.5-point home favorite in the immediate wake of the Rams’ Sunday evening win, while the total is a solid 47.5.
