PGA Tour golf continues with Muirfield Village next on tap to host the 2026 Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, this Thursday. This week, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Cameron Young headline among the Memorial Tournament bets. John Haslbauer provides his favorite PGA Tour picks from the available golf odds. Below, you’ll find each player’s best odds at legal betting sites.

PGA Tour action is back, teeing off this Thursday at the famed Muirfield Village Golf Club for the 2026 Memorial Tournament, hosted by Jack Nicklaus. Standing at 7,569 yards, Muirfield Village is a major-like test that will serve as ideal U.S. Open prep for this loaded Signature Event field.

Bogey Avoidance, Total Driving, and Par 5 Scoring will all be key at the Memorial Tournament, which features some of the most penal rough on the PGA Tour, and often produces a winning score between 8-12 under par. Virtually all of the Tour’s best will vie to keep Scottie Scheffler from achieving the rare three-peat this week.

Let’s review all my bets for the 2026 Memorial Tournament.

How I Built My Memorial Tournament Betting Card

Last year, I was ready to concede this tournament to Scottie Scheffler from the beginning. I chose him in One and Done, and I placed all of my outright bets in the Without Scheffler market. That was a rousing success, but there’s something about the three-peat chase in 2026 that feels less certain. Scheffler has been consistently great in 2026, but with just one win on the season dating back to his first start of the year at The American Express, he’s not the dominant force of past years at the moment.

Capitalizing on the odds value in the standard outright market, I’ve built my card around players in elite tee-to-green form leading into this week, who also have a proven, repeated track record strategically navigating this Jack Nicklaus design.

With all of that in mind, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the Memorial Tournament:

  • Outrights — 3.5U in to pay 25U each
  • FRL — 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
  • Full tournament matchups — 1U in to pay out 2U
  • Props — 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each

the Memorial Tournament Bets: Outrights (3.5 Units)

Ludvig Äberg

My Bet: +1800

Best Available Odds:

I promise I will eventually take a break from investing my hard-earned money into this 0-time 2026 winner at odds south of 20-1. I just can’t pull myself away yet. I still believe the narrative has swung too far on Äberg as a prolific non-winner, and as a steadfast Ludvig truther, I’m always quick to remind that he was a Signature Event winner just last season.

Äberg was a not-so-distant 2nd to Scottie Scheffler in my model this week, ranking top-2 across all of the key metrics I’m looking for at Muirfield Village (SG: TOT, SG: T2G, SG: APP, Prox: 175+, Par 5 Scoring). Having watched him closely at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week, it was the wedges that prevented Aberg from making a concerted charge, as he simply could not capitalize on his ample looks from inside 125 yards at Colonial CC. That won’t be a part of the game plan at Muirfield Village, however, so I’m optimistic a steady dosage of approaches from beyond 175 yards is exactly what Aberg needs to separate from this field. He’ll look to add to a stellar resume of T16 and T5 finishes in his first two appearances at the Memorial Tournament.

Matt Fitzpatrick

My Bet: +2200

Best Available Odds:

Is four wins too much to ask of Matt Fitzpatrick this 2026 season? That seems to be the only reason left not to consider betting Fitzpatrick to win the 2026 Memorial Tournament, and that’s just not compelling enough of a case to keep me away from backing him.

Fitzpatrick has found repeated success on his favorite courses, and Muirfield Village is one of them; he has three top-10 finishes over his last six appearances. That success can be attributed in part to his prowess around the greens in long rough. He ranks No. 1 in that category and No. 1 in general Scrambling this season. With three wins and three additional top-20s over his last seven starts, Fitzpatrick ranks 4th overall in my model this week and has proven he has what it takes to take Scottie Scheffler down when he has his best stuff.

Jordan Spieth

My Bet: +5500

Best Available Odds:

Scottie Scheffler and Patrick Cantlay get deserved praise for their course history at Muirfield Village, each winning multiple times over the last six years. The No. 3 player in terms of course history over that span, though, is Jordan Spieth. Spieth has finished in the top 10 in two of his last three appearances at the Memorial, and has nine top-20 finishes here over his last 13 visits to Dublin.

Slowly but surely, Spieth’s form is rounding back into shape. He’s now finished in the top 20 in seven of his last 11 starts. Ranking 11th overall in my model, Spieth is a sneaky contender in this field as his form continues to gradually improve with every passing week in 2026.

Maverick McNealy

My Bet: +6000

Best Available Odds:

Statistically, 2026 has been the best season yet for 30-year-old Maverick McNealy. The 2024 RSM Classic winner hasn’t exactly had many sweaty Sundays this season, but he’s been incredibly consistent with top-30 finishes in 11 of his last 13 starts. It seemed as though his breakthrough moment was coming at the PGA Championship, where he played in the final pairing on Saturday before settling for a T18 finish.

Muirfield Village would be a sensible spot for McNealy to break out. He was a T5 finisher at this event last year, and ranks 6th in Comp Course History with top-15 finishes in his latest visits to Olympia Fields, Bay Hill, Torrey Pines, and Caves Valley. McNealy is an excellent Bentgrass putter and has shown he has one of the most well-rounded games on the PGA Tour, ranking top-10 in SG: Short Game, Par-5 Scoring, and Bogey Avoidance.

Kurt Kitayama

My Bet: +7500

Best Available Odds:

Something’s got to give with Kurt Kitayama this week, as he has never gained strokes on approach at Muirfield Village over his first three appearances, but currently sustains a streak of 26 consecutive events in which he’s gained strokes on approach. It’s clear this is a dramatically different version of Kitayama than we saw the last time he teed it up here in 2024, and that means his three prior missed cuts will present some value on his odds.

Kitayama has been a premier ball striker in 2026, ranking top-10 in SG: Ball Striking, SG: APP, and Prox: 175+. With his short game rounding into form now as well, he seems headed for a big win soon. In his last four starts, he’s finished T10, T18, T9, and T8. The 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational winner has proven he can handle the high stakes of a Signature event on a long, demanding venue, making him a long shot with serious win equity this week at Muirfield Village.

the Memorial Tournament Bets: First-Round Leader (0.5 Units)

Kurt Kitayama

My Bet: +5000

Best Available Odds:

Last time we saw Kurt Kitayama in action, he blitzed the field on Sunday of the PGA Championship with the low round of the tournament, a bogey-free 63. A lack of round-to-round consistency has kept Kitayama out of the winner’s circle so far this season, but there’s no question his combination of elite distance and approach play makes him a threat to go low at any course he sets foot on.

Aaron Rai

My Bet: +5500

Best Available Odds:

Speaking of going low at Aronimink, the newfound prestige as a major champion will not detract me from going back to the Aaron Rai FRL well. Muirfield Village bears plenty in common with Aronimink, each rewarding playing out of the fairway, precise approach play, and putting on Bentgrass greens.

Kristoffer Reitan

My Bet: +5500

Best Available Odds:

The PGA Tour rookie will be seeing Muirfield Village for the first time this week, but a lack of course familiarity has clearly not held him back to this point in the season. Profiling as a long driver in great approach form with spike putting upside, there’s no reason to doubt whether his game can translate at Muirfield Village.

Tony Finau

My Bet: +8000

Best Available Odds:

If there’s one thing we know about Tony Finau, he will always be tinkering with his putter until something clicks. That’s what I like to see from an FRL hopeful, as Finau has demonstrated consistent tee-to-green play of late and has a spectacular resume over the years at Muirfield Village. His game is trending well enough at the moment to at least generate a high volume of birdie looks in one-round increments.

the Memorial Tournament Prop Bets (2.5 Units)

Full Tournament Matchup: Jordan Spieth over Hideki Matsuyama

My Bet: +100

I have never been much of a Jordan Spieth bettor, as his odds tend to be inflated by the public due to his popularity. This is a rare week, however, where I feel his current form and course fit are going overlooked.

Matsuyama is, of course, a formidable opponent in this matchup, winning this event back in 2014, but his performance at Muirfield Village has been erratic since then. He has just two top-20 finishes over his last six visits here, whereas Spieth has five top-20s over the same span. I’m siding with the higher floor player in this matchup and taking Spieth at even odds.

Top-20 Finish: Maverick McNealy

My Bet: +175

Best Available Odds:

Speaking of high floors, McNealy is playing like a discounted version of Jordan Spieth in 2026. McNealy has finished top-20 in five of his last eight starts, and rates out above-average across all four strokes gained categories over the course of this season. A T5 finisher at this event last year, all signs point towards McNealy continuing that positive momentum into the Memorial Tournament.

Top-20 Finish: Tony Finau

My Bet: +475

Best Available Odds:

I have less conviction in Tony Finau’s ability to piece together four solid rounds, but as a boom-or-bust play, there’s plenty to like for these odds. Finau has four top-20 finishes over his last 12 starts, and is just one start removed from a season-best T6 showing at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. His course history is tough to ignore as well, finishing top-20 in five of his nine career starts at the Memorial Tournament.

One And Done

My Pick: Matt Fitzpatrick

I’ve managed not to use Fitzpatrick for any of his first three wins this season. The good news, however, is that he remains available now with a Signature Event purse on the line in the midst of this sustained run of hot form on a course he’s seen plenty of success on before.

Fitzpatrick will look to stand in the way of Scottie Scheffler’s three-peat this week, but Scheffler aside, he carries as few question marks into this week as any other player in the field. A fourth win and second in a Signature Event would put Fitzpatrick in pole position for PGA Tour Player of the Year honors with just under three months remaining in the season.

If not Fitzpatrick, I would also consider playing Jordan Spieth, Scottie Scheffler, or Patrick Cantlay in OAD.

the Memorial Tournament Bets: The Card

That’ll do it for this week’s PGA TOUR golf bets. Best of luck this week with your own Memorial Tournament bets, and see you on Sunday for the RBC Canadian Open preview.
