Rams-Broncos DFS Picks: Best Value Plays, NFL Week 3

The Los Angeles Rams play their third straight primetime game to open the season, this time heading to Denver to take on the Broncos. Both teams enter at 1-1, each bouncing back from their season-opening losses. With key players on the injury report on both sides, here are the best value plays for Week 3’s Sunday Night Football matchup.

👑 Matthew Stafford, LAR/QB/MVP ($15,600)

The NFL’s reigning MVP followed up a poor Week 1 performance with a masterclass on Monday Night Football. The veteran QB threw for 327 yards and 4 TDs despite missing his top target, Puka Nacua. With Nacua doubtful for Sunday night, the Rams will need another elite showing from their MVP, and Stafford should have no trouble stepping up.

The Broncos’ pass defense has been strong, allowing just 172.5 passing yards per game after two weeks. Luckily for Stafford, the dynamic RB duo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum provide the perfect counter that keeps defenses guessing. Even without Nacua, Stafford had no trouble spreading the ball around and should be in line for another high-volume night with an expected point total of 44.5 points.

Davante Adams, LAR/WR ($10,200)

Stafford’s big night in Monday evening’s win was largely due to an explosion from his veteran wideout, Davante Adams. While the two have had a great connection in the red zone during their tenure in Los Angeles, we haven’t seen a game like that from the former Jets wideout since he joined the Rams in 2025. Adams followed his poor Week 1 showing with 8 receptions for 195 and 2 TDs in the Rams’ home opener on Monday.

The 33-year-old will likely be shadowed by All-Pro CB Patrick Surtain II, with Nacua unlikely to suit up Sunday evening. While this hurts his production on Sunday, Stafford will still look to feed his primary target, with few other sure options available. Replicating last week’s performance will be no easy task, but Adams should still be Los Angeles’ number one option in another week without their superstar WR.

Terrance Ferguson, LAR/TE ($3,800)

TE Terrance Ferguson stepped up as the Rams’ second-best receiving threat in Nacua’s absence on Monday night. The sophomore TE caught six receptions for 54 yards and a TD in the win, and should be in for another solid performance based on how poorly Denver has defended TEs this season. The Broncos allow the fourth-most yards per target to opposing TEs, and Ferguson seems to be a primary target of Stafford’s with Nacua out of the picture.

Ferguson finished Monday night’s win with the second-highest target share (29%) on the team and could be in line for an even higher number with Surtain likely to limit looks to Adams. Ferguson’s fellow TE Colby Parkinson missed practice this week and is questionable for Sunday night, leaving even more opportunity for the young star. With Ferguson’s red-zone threat and the current injury situation, picking up the young TE for under $4,000 is a no-brainer for Sunday evening.

Jaylen Waddle, DEN/WR ($9,600)

Broncos fans can let out a sigh of relief after seeing why the team went out and acquired star WR Jaylen Waddle. The former Dolphin had a poor start in Denver, logging one reception in the season opener, but exploded for 8 catches for 138 yards in last week’s victory. While it will take time for QB Bo Nix to develop chemistry with his new weapon, there’s no doubt they’re on the right path heading into Week 3.

Waddle will have a difficult time on the perimeter agasint the Rams’ elite CBs, but Los ANgeels has looked vulnerable in the slot. The Rams have allowed the 13th-most fantasy points per opportunity to slot receivers, and Denver showed they plan to use Waddle there the majority of the time. Waddle registered 22 of his 38 snaps in the slot, and it makes sense to keep him there based on his performance and Sunday night’s matchup advantage.

Kyren Williams, LAR/RB ($8,600)

Williams continues to produce as the Rams’ RB1 despite Corum’s emergence as his backup. The two have created a complementary one-two punch, and head coach Sean McVay still defaults to Williams in most situations. The fifth-year back led the team with 12 carries for 85 yards on Monday, and has now scored a TD in back-to-back weeks. While he split carries 50/50 with Corum, you can trust Williams to produce when called upon.

Both RBs should have a strong evening against a Broncos run defense that ranks among the worst to start the season. Denver ranks 30th against the run, giving up the fourth-most rushing yards and 5th-most fantasy points to RBs. Williams has also dominated the red-zone carries this season, taking 66.7% of the Rams’ attempts within 5 yards. While his split with Corum does limit how strong he can be in fantasy, Williams has proven he doesn’t need much to produce week in and week out.

Tutu Atwell, LAR/WR ($2,200)

With so many heavy hitters in our lineup, we have to look for value somewhere, and in this case, in veteran WR Tutu Atwell. Despite his big-play ability, the speedy wideout hasn’t reintegrated into the Rams offense in his second stint with the team. He caught his first pass of the season last week, finishing with 1 reception for 19 yards on his two targets. While these numbers are concerning, there’s hope he can become a bigger part of the offense with Nacua out yet again.

The Broncos will certainly have their attention occupied by Adams in this matchup, leaving Atwell and the other Rams wideouts with some favorable matchups in the secondary. The veteran WR is correctly priced based on his performances this season; however, that doesn’t mean we can’t see some production from him with the increased opportunity.
