SMU vs. FSU Game Betting Analysis
The ATS market is a bit murky for this one, so we’ll cower to the Under based on some betting data. SMU has hit the Under in six straight season opening games along with six of its last eight games when playing as the favorite. FSU has also hit the Under in four of its last five home games when playing in the underdog role. The Seminoles are actually on a 1-5 Under run going back to its last six games overall.
For the spread, SMU has dropped the spread in its last five games when playing as an AP ranked school. The Mustangs are, however, 4-1 ATS over their last five games. Also, FSU has actually seen the home team win outright in seven straight games. There is a small window to suggest the underdog ML is a solid risk to take, but the overwhelming data supporting the Under is where we’ll play it a bit safer instead.
