Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild Game 4 Preview, Picks & Odds for Monday, May 11, 2026

The Minnesota Wild pulled off a huge Game 3 win with a 5-1 beating on the Colorado Avalanche. Minnesota looks to tie the series up with a Game 4 victory when they face the Avs at home on Monday night. Let’s dive into the betting data, trends, odds and insights for wagering this playoff game from Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild Betting Analysis

Minnesota’s Game 3 win marked the fourth straight home victory for Minnesota when playing as the underdog. In fact, the Wild have won a very impressive eight of nine games inside Grand Casino Arena when playing as underdogs. They have also covered the puck line in 15 of 16 home games in that role. Until Game 3, however, Colorado was rolling – covering and winning outright in four straight games, two of which against Minnesota.

It is difficult to side with a winner here, so let’s move markets. The total looks nice with six or more goals in four of five meetings between both clubs. The Avs have seen at least one team score five goals in four straight games, while Minnesota has cashed on the Over in seven of eight games when coming off a win. Minnesota has also hit the Over 1.5 1P goal total market in 12 of 13 games when playing at night.

Moving to player props, Nathan MacKinnon (again) gets plus-value on scoring a goal as he did in Game 3 – the only one for Colorado. He has hit the back of the net in four straight games, while Kirill Kaprizov has scored in a quietly impressive eight of 10 home games when facing the Avs. Kirill’s goal scoring counterpart, Matthew Boldy, is also on a three-game goal streak when playing at home. MacKinnon at plus-money continues to be our best bet, but he is currently EVEN at +100. If he slips into minus-value territory, don’t take him and try the Over 6.5 at EVEN (+100) instead.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild Best Bet, Pick & Prediction
