Fantasy playoffs are starting, and we have plenty of pickups to get you through the rest of the way. Derrius Guice took reign this week, which could mean something over the next few weeks. The Colts had a true three back committee, which wasn’t the case the prior week. With injuries looming, we also have a few names that should get more opportunity. As the waiver wire gets more and more scarce, we dive into names that should get plenty of opportunity in the second half.  Be sure to catch all our Week 14 rankings and fantasy football advice.

Derrius Guice – Washinton Redskins

Average Ownership: 51%, FAAB: $15

Coming off his best game, Derrius Guice crushed an easy defense to run on. In Week 14 he will face another one, as Green Bay ranks 28th in DVOA against the run. The downside remains that he won’t have a full workload, but 12 touches or so is what we can bank on moving forward, especially if he continues to produce big plays. Guice was a stellar college prospect, and injuries have hurt him to start his NFL career. There is full belief that this is the start of him being the top back in 2020.

Nyheim Hines – Indianapolis Colts

Average Ownership: 34%, FAAB: $4

We are looking at PPR leagues here only, as the Colts threw us a curveball given they used all three backs. The Colts are down two key targets in the passing game, and Hines will make up some targets in that role. He has put up 12, 8, and 13 PPR point games in the last three. Hines will see New Orleans, Tampa Bay, and Carolina over the next three weeks. These are not bad matchups for Hines in the passing game.

Benny Snell Jr – Pittsburgh Steelers

Average Ownership: 29%, FAAB: $12

Benny Snell has seen 22 and 17 touches over the last two weeks, and will have a favorable matchup over the next few weeks. Arizona ranks 15th in DVOA against the run, and Buffalo ranks 26th. Of course Snell’s touches will depend on James Conner’s health, as he continues to be doubtful most weeks. Snells workload is better than any other waiver wire back at this point, and he will see positive game scripts as well.

Raheem Mostert – San Francisco 49ers

Average Ownership: 14%, FAAB: $8

Raheem Mostert saw 21 touches in the Week 13 loss to Baltimore, which is a season high. He has rushed for over seven yards per carry dating back to last week against Green Bay, where he had 15.7 PPR points. Mostert has been efficient this season, but has needed Matt Breida or Tevin Coleman to be injured to get much work. Coleman’s production has been dreadful of late. Mostert is a guy to pick up right now, as he will continue to have a role in one of the best rushing attacks in football.

James Washington – Pittsburgh Steelers

Average Ownership: 22%, FAAB: $4

It was another big week for James Washington, and he will get a prime matchup in Arizona this week. Washington has posted 10, 19, 7, 18, and 23 fantasy point games over the last five games. He continues to be a big play threat, and is still lower owned around the industry. Given the injuries to the Patriots, we can continue to count on Washington being a primary receiver in the offense.

Deebo Samuel – San Francisco 49ers

Average Ownership: 43%, FAAB: $6

We saw a drop off in targets now that everyone is back and healthy, but the touchdowns and production keep coming. He has posted double-digit PPR points games in all but one game since the Week 7 bye. Over the next few weeks, Samuel will see the 20th, 29th, 14th, and 11th ranked defenses against the pass. Not a bad schedule going ahead.

Russell Gage – Atlanta Falcons

Average Ownership: 4%, FAAB: $2

With Julio Jones missing this week’s game, Russell Gage turned it on. He had nine targets, posting a 5-52-1 line. He was already coming off of a ten target game the week prior, where he posted an 8-76-0 line. With Jones out, and Hooper questionable again, Gage will stand a chance to get a ton of targets moving forward.

Jack Doyle – Indianapolis Colts

Average Ownership: 45%, FAAB: $10

If you missed out on Jack Doyle last week, get ready to pony up a bit more, or fight in the waiver wire. He saw a whopping 11 targets, and will face Tampa Bay, New Orleans, and Carolina over the next three weeks. The Bucs and Saints both rank in the top half in receptions allowed to opposing tight ends this season. Doyle is a top priority tight end waiver wire option this week, and his ownership will skyrocket.

Mike Gesicki – Miami Dolphins

Average Ownership: 10%, FAAB: $3

Mike Geiscki has seen at least six targets in each of the last five weeks. He is coming off back-to-back games over ten PPR points, and has hit that mark in three of the last five. Miami is set to face three bottom half pass defenses over the next three weeks, and Ryan Fitzpatrick continues to sling it. The volume continues to be there, and he is not on the radar in comparison to some of the other tight ends.
