2026 PGA Championship Information & Schedule
The 2026 PGA Championship will be held at the Aronimink Golf Club which is located in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. It is the first time the PGA Championship has been held in Pennsylvania since 1978 when John Mahaffey won at the Oakmont Country Club.
Aronimink did host a PGA Championship back in 1962, and also hosted the LPGA Championship in 2020. Both fairways and greens are bentgrass, a distance of 7,237 yards and a par 70 course.

2026 PGA Championship Futures Odds Markets
Below, you will find various betting markets for the 2026 PGA Championship with the best odds available and insights from Haslbauer.
2026 PGA Championship Outright Winner Odds
The PGA Championship lacks a consistent year-over-year identity like the other three majors do. However, it has consistently delivered tightly contested drama from the game’s biggest stars. The last eight PGA Championship winners include Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka (3x), Phil Mickelson, and Collin Morikawa. Championship pedigree and proven experience scoring in difficult conditions have been a prerequisite with so few surprises at this event over the years.
If there were to be an exception to that trend of thoroughbred winners, Aronimink would the place for it. We last saw professional competition here in 2018, where Keegan Bradley won over Justin Rose in a playoff at -20. The weather will be worth monitoring, as severely rainy conditions caused Aronimink to play significantly easier than it would in firm and fast conditions.
This is a rare opportunity for players who lack distance to contend. We’ve seen shorter hitters like J.J. Spaun and Brian Harman capitalize on shorter major venues in recent years. In form ball-strikers like Russell Henley, Si Woo Kim, Tyrrell Hatton, and Shane Lowry may be worth consideration as shorter hitters who have otherwise been disadvantaged at past PGA Championships.
2026 PGA Championship Top 5 Finish Odds
The top 5 market, particularly in majors, is one I tend to target for players who fit the profile to play well at Aronimink, but may lack the experience or pedigree needed to close a major championship. Players like Ludvig Aberg, Sam Burns, Tommy Fleetwood, and Si Woo Kim have looked excellent in 2026, but have failed to convert on their opportunities on Sundays.
2026 PGA Championship Top 10 Finish Odds
The top 10 market is an opportunity for exposure for high-upside sleepers. Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland, and Shane Lowry each have shown volatility this season, but possess top-10 upside, given their proven historic pedigree at this event.
2026 PGA Championship Leader After Round 1 Odds
I will be monitoring the weather closely when it comes to First Round Leader bets at the PGA Championship. An early tee time would seem to be beneficial, all things being equal, as Aronimink is most scorable in soft conditions before the afternoon sun is able to bake it out and firm it up. In that regard, we may see the early rounds at Aronimink play out like the 2023 U.S. Open at LACC, where Xander Schauffele and Rickie Fowler jumped out to a hot start by capitalizing on uncharacteristically soft conditions.
2026 PGA Championship Top 5 After Round 1 Odds
If looking to take a more conservative route, the Top 5 After Round 1 market offers more modest returns, but helps avoid the heartbreak of one very hot player spoiling it for everyone else. From a sleeper perspective, look for players like Matt McCarty and Sungjae Im, who paced the field with a hot early start at the Truist Championship the week before.
2026 PGA Championship Leader After Round 2 Odds
Who will hold the lead going into the weekend? The 2026 season has shown us this is not the market you want to back Scottie Scheffler in, as he has done his damage in come-from-behind fashion after some slow Thursday starts this year. If there is a longshot player you are high on, consider hedging them in this market, before the “boogie man”, Scottie Scheffler, has a chance to catch them.
2026 PGA Championship Top 5 After Round 2 Odds
Similar to First Round Leader, this market offers some hedge exposure in the case of a single player distancing himself from the rest of the field early. In this market, I’m drawn to players who are great course fits but have looked concerning when closing out a tournament over the weekend. Players like Ludvig Aberg, Russell Henley, and Shane Lowry fit that mold.
2026 PGA Championship To Make the Cut Odds
Unlike the Masters, where over two-thirds of the field advance to the weekend, it’s a distinct accomplishment to make the cut at the PGA Championship. Look for volatile longshots with high upside, such as Dustin Johnson, Matt McCarty, and Brandt Snedeker, as top value considerations in this market.
2026 PGA Championship Top Former Winner Odds
Scottie Scheffler is the player to beat in this field, and at even-or-better odds, he’s a very appealing option to entertain. Rory McIlroy has been practicing at Aronimink in-between his PGA Tour starts, but suffered a slight setback in his Tuesday practice round with a toe blister. Amongst longshots in this market, don’t be surprised if 2020 champion, Collin Morikawa, makes a charge on this great course fit.
2026 PGA Championship Top LIV Player Odds
LIV players disappointed in the first major of the year, as frontmen Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau were non-factors at The Masters. Tyrrell Hatton was a lone bright spot at Augusta National, however, and figures to be a great course fit yet again at Aronimink. Amongst sleepers, don’t be surprised if Thomas Detry makes a charge. The Belgian was a runaway winner at the 2024 WM Phoenix Open and finished T4 at the 2025 PGA Championship at Valhalla.
2026 PGA Championship Top Lefty Odds
The competition amongst lefties continues to heat up, with Akshay Bhatia picking up an impressive Signature Event win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier this year. Robert MacIntyre is the highest-ranked lefty by OWGR standards and may appreciate playing on fellow countryman Donald Ross’ design. Matt McCarty is a sleeper to watch in this market as well, entering this week with four consecutive top-12 finishes.
2026 PGA Championship Top Senior Odds
There are four Seniors in the field this week, quite the dropoff from the larger crew of past champions we saw at The Masters last month. Stewart Cink is the prohibitive favorite, but Padraig Harrington serves a fighting chance to hang with him at Aronimink.
2026 PGA Championship Top Debutant Odds
There are plenty of appealing debutants to choose from at the 2026 PGA Championship. Alex Fitzpatrick appears ready for the moment with two wins and five top-20 finishes over his last seven starts. Sudarshan Yellamaraju is another name to watch, as the Canadian PGA Tour rookie continues to show excellence with his total driving and approach play.
2026 PGA Championship Top American Odds
Scottie Scheffler is the prohibitive favorite in this market, but Cameron Young is doing everything he can to close the gap. Young has surpassed Scheffler in terms of wins this season, and the smart money would be on one of these two players emerging as the Top American at Aronimink.
2026 PGA Championship Top European Odds
This may be the most competitive Top European contests we’ve seen in years. Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Ludvig Aberg all enter in elite form. In the next tier, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Tyrrell Hatton, and Viktor Hovland also have clear lanes to contend at Aronimink.
2026 PGA Championship Top Continental European Odds
The Continental European market removes Great Britain & Ireland from the equation. Without McIlroy, Fitzpatrick, and Fleetwood at the top, this opens the door for some more viable Scandinavian sleepers like Nicolai Hojgaard and Kristoffer Reitan.
2026 PGA Championship Top British & Irish Player Odds
The inverse of the prior market, the odds imply this to be a three-man race between Rory McIlroy, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Tommy Fleetwood. Don’t sleep on Tyrrell Hatton or Alex Fitzpatrick in this market though, as they each enter as strong fits in great form.
2026 PGA Championship Top Asian Odds
Hideki Matsuyama has been a constant favorite in this market, but this week, he’s been caught by red-hot Si Woo Kim. Kim has been fantastic all season from tee-to-green, and is a deserving favorite in Top Asian odds.
2026 PGA Championship Top South American Odds
From a talent standpoint, Joaquin Niemann is in a class of his own in this market. I’m drawn to him as a top value at anything better than even odds, as we may not see another South American player survive to see the weekend on this setup.
2026 PGA Championship Top Canadian Odds
Corey Conners has dominated the Top Canadian Odds market for a decade at this point, and while I love his course fit this week, he’s no lock in this market. Nick Taylor and Sudarshan Yellamaraju are both hot at the moment. Taylor has finished top-15 in each of his last two starts, while Yellamaraju has three top-20s over his last seven starts.
2026 PGA Championship Top Australian Odds
Adam Scott is my Australian of choice to come out on top in this market. Given the expected emphasis on approach play, Scott should have an advantage ranking No. 1 in SG: APP in this field. Cameron Smith is a player to watch if conditions firm up, as he still possesses the most polished short game in this field.
2026 PGA Championship Top South African Odds
Perhaps the most wide-open market of all, there are five South Africans in the field this week, and it would not surprise me if any emerged on top. Casey Jarvis stroikes me as having the highest upside of the bunch, picking up two wins on the DP World Tour within his last seven starts.
2026 PGA Championship Contenders
Below is a list of top contenders to win the 2026 PGA Championship.
Scottie Scheffler
Scottie Scheffler is your defending PGA Championship winner, coasting to victory at Quail Hollow last year. He is having a “disappointing” season by his own lofty standards, with just one victory in 2026 coming at The American Express. While he hasn’t converted a win since, he’s been in position to win every event he’s played over the last month. He”s finished solo 2nd in each of his last three appearances leading into the PGA Championship.
There is not a course Scheffler sees that does not suit him, but he’ll undoubtedly like what he sees at Aronimink. This shorter layout will reward shot-making, accuracy, and proficiency on approach, three of his greatest strengths.
Best Odds:
Rory McIlroy
McIlroy has fully entered his “Majors or Bust” era, happily trading off Signature Events for the opportunity to prep for majors instead. Just as McIlroy prepared for the Masters with several practice rounds before, he’s done the same at Aronimink, skipping the Cadillac Championship for a practice round here instead.
McIlroy will be fully motivated to add to his growing major total, and the 2026 Masters champion remains in prime form. Aronimink does not have to be a driver-heavy course for all, but players in complete control of their driver, like McIlroy will find themselves even more birdie opportunities here. There some concern, if conditions are soft, that a player like McIlroy can completely overpower this 7,237-yard venue.
Best Odds:
Bryson DeChambeau
There was no bigger disappointment at the first major of the year than Bryson DeChambeau. The hottest player on LIV this season was a shell of himself at Augusta, ultimately missing the cut.
Bryson has done everything but win at the PGA Championship, with finishes of T2, 2nd, T4, and T4 over his last five trips. Like McIlroy, there is a pathway for DeChambeau to overpower this course. He will be especially dangerous if conditions are soft.
Best Odds:
2026 PGA Championship Sleepers
Below is a list of top sleepers to win the 2026 PGA Championship.
Matthew Fitzpatrick
A classical-designed, Bentgrass, northeast venue that lacks intimidating length, it’s easy to draw comparisons between Aronimink and the site of Fitzpatrick’s first major championship win, The Country Club. Past history aside, Fitzpatrick is currently in the best form of his career, with three wins over his last four starts. A consummate course strategist, this is an ideal venue for Fitzpatrick to continue his hot form on.
Best Odds:
Ludvig Aberg
Ludvig’s performance at Quail Hollow in the final week before the PGA Championship will go a long way in showing us how ready he his to claim a major. There is no doubting the young Swede’s talent, and he’s factored into most tournaments he’s played this season, with four top-5s over his last five tournaments. The 2026 Players Championship was his to lose however, and his unraveling on the back 9 has led to questions surrounding how ready he is to close in big moments. I am a big believer in Aberg however, and his ability to bomb the ball on the string is a skillset that will translate anywhere.
Best Odds:
Justin Rose
The switch to McLaren clubs in the midst of an incredible renaissance season is one of the most head-scratching stories in golf this year. Had Rose not converted to a bag made from a motorsports company with no golf expertise, Rose may have been the most popular sleeper consideration in this field. No player loves Aronimink more than Justin Rose, who lost in a playoff here at the 2018 BMW Championship and won at the 2010 AT&T National. It will be crucial to monitor how Rose and his new irons look at the Truist Championship before placing a PGA Championship bet on him.
Best Odds:
2026 PGA Championship Longshots
Below is a list of top longshots to win the 2026 PGA Championship.
Jordan Spieth
The least talked about grand slam chase in the sport, Spieth will make his ninth attempt at glory at Aronimink. While it’s been a while since we’ve seen Spieth play to the caliber of player who won his first three majors, there’s something about Aronimink that should give us hope for some Spiethian theatrics. It’s sloping, uneven lies in the fairway lend itself to the creativity required at Augusta National, where Spieth has thrived for most of his career. With five top-20s over his last eight starts, don’t be surprised if you see Spieth climb up the leaderboard at the PGA Championship.
Best Odds:
Keegan Bradley
Team USA’s Ryder Cup captain was the last player to lift a trophy at Aronimink, winning the 2018 BMW Championship here. The New England native has a long history of success on northeast courses that reward consistent ball-striking. While the form has been fleeting in 2026, Keegan has shown promise of late with finished of T12 and T21 over his last three starts. He’ll look to improve on his T8 finish at last year’s PGA Championship.
Best Odds:
Michael Block
The pride of Mission Viejo, it wouldn’t be a PGA Championship without Blockie’s presence. Block gave us one of the greatest Cinderella stories in this sport’s history when he finished T15 at the 2023 PGA Championship as a teaching professional. He’ll get another crack at a classical Donald Ross masterpiece this week, and to his preference, Aronomink will play nearly 500 yards shorter. Expectations are as low as could be for Block, who has never made a cut in a PGA Tour event outside the 2023 PGA Championship, but he will still be a fun player to track before the weekend.
