Colorado has some big names, but overall they have a lopsided depth chart. Health has been one of the bigger reasons why they have struggled on and off in recent years. Their right side of the infield is a strong one with Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado. Both have been some of the top hitters in the league, but Arenado also brings a ton of value with his defense too. Charlie Blackmon is a strong right field option, but the rest of the areas on offense and defense have been hit or miss. Partially because of injury, but the Rockies seem to have a lot of depth they don’t know what to do with. Pitching in Coors is a tough ask, and while names like German Marquez and Jon Gray are solid, they have had their ups and downs. Colorado will try and bounce back as this was a playoff team just a few years ago.
