Pittsburgh has been trading away their talent for the last few years, and they have now become one of the poorer teams in baseball. This was the case again over the offseason with Starling Marte heading off to Arizona. While there are some decent names on this depth chart, they have a lot of ways to go before they get going again. Josh Bell is the big power bat on the depth chart, who is coming off a big year. The rest of the infield is filled with names that may not be here for the future, but Adam Frazier and Colin Moran have some decent value. Gregory Polanco has struggled to stay healthy in his career, and having some outfield depth is crucial for the Pirates. The rotation does have upside with Jameson Taillon, Chris Archer, and Joe Musgrove. They also have Mitch Keller who is coming on up as one of the top prospects.
