The Minnesota Timberwolves are not “happy campers” after one of their picks fell outside its protected status and instead went to the Golden State Warriors. This was an extra kick to the teeth after a horrendous year. The T-Wolves belong to the Northwest division in the Western Conference. This division also has the Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Oklahoma City Thunder. Minnesota should beat out the Thunder to avoid the last place in the division, but it will be close. Minnesota is being rewarded for its terrible year with only four nationally televised games. The T-Wolves will be playing in 13 back-to-backs, which is not too bad compared to others who have 15.
