0-0, T-1st NFC West
The 49ers went into the playoffs with a very challenging QB situation, and while they’ve had an offseason to prepare, the position is still a question mark. They’ll start figuring things out right away, as the 49ers 2023 schedule provides them with plenty of tests straight from the start. They open on the road in a tough Pittsburgh environment, and then head to LA for a clash with the division rival Rams. Then there’s a matchup with a fellow 2022 playoff team, the Giants, one of five 49ers primetime games. The regular season will wrap up with a couple of intriguing late home games, in week 16 against the Ravens and then the season finale against the Rams. A lot of people are split on this team coming into the season, but they have plenty of talent and a friendly enough schedule to get very solid playoff seeding.
